    • Perfect replacement
Funny story is that I was only considering ordering these but wanted to check the dimensions of my current casters, and I broke one in the removal process lol, so luckily these are a perfect replacement! I have bought a few sets of other replacement casters in the past, and they had larger roller blade wheels on them, so that's my only wish is that these were a little bit bigger, especially since I'm using them on carpeting, but they are actually the same diameter as the plastic wheels that I was replacing so I can't complain too much. These are made very well and should last for a very long time. They are a bit more covered on the bottom than the old ones so that should help keep them from collecting too much hair and lint. They also spin very freely and don't fall out, so I'm pretty happy with them, thank you. ... show more

    • Fits a chair but it gets stuch on thin rug
I wanted to replace a single roller, larger wheels with these expecting larger contact surface and better weight distribution. Unfortunately, they hardly move on thin rug. I have returned to prevoius wheels. Feels that larger diameter works better for rugs. Now, I use other chair and bare hardwood. That combination works OK. ... show more

    • No good on carpet
I got these to replace the wheels on my home office chair thinking they would be better on our high pile carpet. While they were really easy to put on and looked great, the chair no longer rolled on the carpet so I had to remove them.

    • Smooth as silk
I have an older office chair with the standard plastic wheels, and they are stiff. They also routinely fill with cat hair because my cats like to lounge around it. From time to time I will take a utility knife and a screwdriver and try to get out all the hair, but it's frustrating and tedious. These wheels are a lot different from a set of "skate" type wheels I put on a different office chair several years ago. Those were a lot taller and altered the height and center of gravity of the chair. This set is the same height as the original wheels, BUT each one has a PAIR of wheels. Replacement was quick and easy and took under 2 minutes. I noticed that these wheels seem to have a closed construction that I believe will keep cat hair (and my hair) from getting tangled in the wheels. That chair is much more comfortable now and glides smoothly on its mat. Its center of gravity and balance are unaffected. These are great wheels! ... show more

    • SOLID DESIGN WITH EXCELLENT WHEELS
An excellent price for these quality casters. My primary choice concern is always how the vertical post is secured? IMHO many (larger) skate type wheeled casters I’ve had have failed for one reason, they retain the upper post bearings (usually caged and not roller) with a pressed on steel ‘cap’ which distorts over time and releases the pressed steel caged bearings…. I know this type of issue is familiar to others? Your chair experience may differ:?) The SEDDOX casters are my choice for the post cap design and other features: - Universal size - 700 lbs rated - Dual wheel / four bearing design - Smooth rolling 2” wheels - Safe for all types of flooring (pile carpet the exception) Use time is the ultimate judge so I will report back if necessary. ... show more

    • SMOOOOOOTHHHH!
The Good: I have Vinyl plank flooring in my office. I was using a clear mat, so the plastic wheels did not scuff up the very hardy flooring. Just as a precaution. I replaced the plastic wheels with these and it is so smooth. I removed the clear plastic mat, and put under another desk. The Bad: nothing here yet. seem like very high quality. I bough these to replace the ones that originally came with my office chair. The original ones where hard plastic and I was worried that it would scratch my hardwood floor. These were extremely easy to install and are super smooth for rolling. Overall very happy with these and happy I ordered them.
