The included bass knob is a nice accessory to allow you to quickly adjust your levels when needed. The amp itself did run hot until we added a 12v fan under the center of the amp buy mounting the amp to the box with risers. Amp is definitely not what is advertised nor described. This Amp is only good for pushing 8's or maybe even 10's. Amp worked for one day, after that it stayed in protection mode. Had to turn the gain down to about 1/4 level just to see if it would stay on. Had it on 2 12s Power Acoustik Gothic's, wired down to 2 ohm and they shut the Amp off! Wouldn't recommend this Amp if you have some Thunder in your Trunk. ... show more

I paired it with 10 inch punisher subwoofer. I bought the amp knowing I only needed between 900 –1100 watts RMS 1ohm. I installed the kit with OFC true four gauge wire. I ran the amp and 80% of its capacity.(1000watts) for well over an hour and the amp never even got warm to the touch. Overall, it sounds great with this subwoofer it bumps🔊 But do not get if you need serious power ... show more

I bought this amp almost 3 years ago now. It has been pushing one low profile 12 inch sub in a sealed down firing box. This application requires a good bit of power and honestly the amp has surpassed my expectations. Tons of power with clean clear bass. so far the rms power rating is acurate, if you know what your looking at. the only negative is the control knob that comes with it, despite being metal and feeling sturdy it did not function at all.
