    • Well executed hardware crypto wallet
I can't confirm that I own every hardware crypto wallet known to man but it feels like it. I make it a point to try all that I come across. This is one of the better ones I've seen recently. SecuX has done a partnership with well known security firm Trend Micro and seeing the company's logo on the main screen is definitely reassuring. The device is small, but feels well made. The screen is a good size and easy to read and interact with. If you've ever set up a crypto wallet--and I assume anyone reading this probably has--you know how the onboarding process goes. You set up your device PIN, give your device a name (to recognize during Bluetooth pairing and/or USB connection) and then create your wallet. The device generates the 24 word recovery seed six at a time for you to write down. After that, it gives you the obligatory quiz to make sure that you did as you were told. They make it easy to validate the seed by showing you four choices for each word, moving to the next one when you correctly identify it. I liked this approach since it allowed me to easily verify that I wrote everything down correctly. As is the case with most of these devices, the 'heavy lifting' is done by the companion smartphone app. There's also a web app that you can use by connecting the device via Bluetooth or USB. The app immediately informed me of a firmware update which was completed easily and quickly. You set up a password for your app and then you're ready to start adding accounts. The send/receive function is straightforward and all transactions have to be confirmed on the device. This is now my favorite hardware wallet and has become my 'daily driver'. I'm not sure exactly what the 'special sauce' is but it sure feels more streamlined and easier to use than any other hardware wallet I've come across. SecuX hasn't 'reinvented the wheel', but they've done a really nice job executing--with both the device, the app and the way that they interface. Highly recommended! ... show more

    • "Supports" 1000s of tokens... but not really
This thing is interesting. I had fairly high hopes for it, and it doesn't really fulfill them all. It does have a touch screen, it does work over bluetooth, and it does store your private keys in a hardware vault. It does do all of those things... What is disappointing to me though... is it really only supports two different things... Bitcoin and Ethereum. Everything else is some variant of Bitcoin or Ethereum... or some coin built on top of Ethereum. It doesn't really do much else other than that. I would have loved to see support for other actual cryptos... or even generic private key storage, like a SmartCard... Infineon's data sheet even shows that the chip they use inside of this can be used in SmartCard applications! I'm only knocking 1 star off for that, as it's my own personal disappointment with it. I do feel it is a bit deceptive to claim such wide support for "crypto" when it's really not supporting much when you really look at it. They don't advertise anything other than Bitcoin and Ethereum support if you read through the product data, so I'm not going to be too hard about that. It would be great if they expanded this to support any type of private key... I'd totally use this for SSH key storage (even though the YubiKeys work great for this!), GPG Key Storage, TOTP, etc... this could be an amazing hardware private key vault... but a YubiKey can do practically everything this does (and then some), just without a display. Overall though, if you're looking for a Bitcoin or Ethereum hardware wallet, this will definitely do the job. ... show more

I am fairly new to crypto and have been doing some research on how to properly store your assets as they are virtual and digital and nearly untraceable if taken from you. Hardware wallets are new to the market as well, but not all of them are equal. I not only like the SecuX for its large touchscreen, but also the technology it holds to keep your assets protected. With this wallet, you have the option to completely use it offline which deems it pretty much un-hack able. The other great thing about this wallet is that it will self destruct if someone attempts to physically open the device to gain access to the storage. I have not seen that feature yet on the market and this device will also reset itself after 5 unsuccessful pin entries. I am also surprised that this wallet also offers both Bluetooth and USB connection as most only offer one or the other. The software is user friendly and easy to see on the screen. There is not lag in the response of the touch screen and the build quality seems fairly robust for an electronic device. Overall, with its feature rich, dual connectivity and portable design, this thing will probably be my most used device in the near future. ... show more

I got this Crypto wallet and I have to say, it is probably one of the best Crypto wallets I've seen. It is very well put together and durably. The screen is large and it is easy to use. I feel like this is very secured and a great way to hold onto your Crypto, I highly recommend this wallet.

As we have witnessed in the headlines the volatility of the crypto market in general, it's important to make sure you hold onto your own assets without the additional threat of theft as has been known to happen.     • Large touch screen easy to use.
I like the large touch screen better than my last hardware wallet tiny lcd screen. It's much easier to use with the touch screen. I also like the added Trend Micro protection it's a much needed feature to protect your assets.
