I love this onesie! When our puppy was in heat I bought something that I had to fish her tail through every time I changed it, and it was a nightmare! This onesie is awesome! It takes almost no cooperation from your dog to get on, I was able to get it on her as she violently rolled around on the floor. She can go potty without taking it off or messing with it at all, and I don’t need to try to pull her tail through. It has no seems or exposed Velcro that makes it uncomfortable , she seems oblivious to having it on at all. It also has a stitched area for male dogs so you are able to cut out the area for the weenis. Washes well, Velcro is secure. She was in between sizes so I went with the back length measurements and it fits great!

I had written a really thorough cool review but I was told it didn’t meet community guidelines, and after reading the guidelines I have no idea why. Anyway, here are the important things: - Great quality, the fabric is breathable and my dogs seem completely unbothered by it despite the super warm Southern CA weather. - Super strong Velcro, 2 hyperactive 6 month-old puppies haven’t been able to take it off, and in fact, I think it’s comfortable because I haven’t even seen them try. - No mess with peeing and pooping. I washed the suits today just because they had worn them for 3 days but didn’t smell bad nor had any stains. Regular washer and dryer didn’t ruin them. - Good protection of the surgical incision: even though they rub/scratch the area where the stitches are, the stitches and the incision are in perfect condition. - I had my doubts about ordering this product given the price difference with other brands (this one seemed too cheap in comparison), but I can’t find a single thing I’m not satisfied with. Well, probably the colors, didn’t love those, but leaving fashions aside, they’re perfect. - Regarding size: do measure your pet and don’t go just by weight. Both my dogs would’ve required the same size based on weight but one was small and the other medium when going by measurements. I’m glad I measured because they fit perfectly and the same size wouldn’t have fit both. - Soooo much better than the cone! They can play and do everything they did before the surgery with these. When they had the cone they wouldn’t stop whimpering. Today I put back the cone while washing the suits and they were both sad and whimpering again, all fixed when the suits were back on and the cones gone. - Easy to put on and take off, or even just take a peek at the wound without taking them off completely.

Very cute and great for what I needed after my dog got spayed. She is about 26.5 lbs and I got a large and it fit her great. I like the velcro for quick release when they have to use the bathroom. I have another suit with snaps and that was more of a hassle.

I used this for my dogs’ spayed surgery. Overall worked really well for 2 weeks. Knocked off a star due to Velcro in the back that tore a little bit from fabric (recommend holding each tab firmly then pulling apart). She did not touch the incision and this was a great alternative to the dreaded cone.

have a 48-50 lb hound dog mix who was recently spayed. I didn't want the e-collar because it terrifies her, and she won't move. I also know that she is a stealth chewer, and chewed out 2 IVs without the tech hearing or noticing during another medical procedure. Therefore, I knew she had to have some form of protection for her incision. I ordered 2 different recovery suits because I needed them to work and had been procrastinating about ordering. This one was my favorite! I have included a picture of my dog for reference. Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of her wearing the suit. For reference her measurements are: neck 15", chest 28", and back 24". Pros: - Ease of use. Loved the velcro tabs on the back. Easy to remove the back area for potty trips and strong enough to stay in place during the rest of the time. - Material thick enough to protect the incision when she started to explore it. - She didn't seem to get hot and appeared comfortable wearing it. Cons: -Fit was a little off. I measured her carefully, and it was snug at her neck and in her bottom area. I adjusted the velcro tabs, which helped with the bottom area. However, if I made them too loose, she would have been able to get to her incision. She didn't appear bothered by the neck, but it definitely could have been looser. The next size up would have been too big, but I wish the size I ordered were a little longer. Then the fit would have been perfect. - No place to tuck the flaps once the Velcro is undone when allowing them to go potty. On one side, I used velcro to hold the sides up, but then the other side wouldn't velcro together, so I tried tucking it under the material on her chest. However, the bottom flap would become loose when she was moving around outside. I would have used binder clips to hold them in place, but she likes to roll on her back when outside.

The Best surgical suit out there. I have sent back three other suits all cost more money than these. This suit is superior due to the excellent cotton fabric that is ribbed so a great fit, soft, and doesn't cause heat and moisture on the incision like the others I order. which were mostly polyester blends. I sent the others back because of being ill fitting or cheap fabric. This suit is very comfy and I can tell it has plenty of stretch around the neck and leg hole. My dog has not chewed or pulled on it. The velcro straps are great and they make the length of the suit adjustable for comfort and to deny licking access to the wound. I bought two of them for my dogs spay. I have thrown them in the washer to clean. They work like a nice dry bandage for the wound. After my girl is healed from her surgery I am going to alter them taking off the straps to use as a tee shirt for her. This suit has also had a calming effect on her. She can walk around freely and it is not restricted. She is 11.5 pounds and I bought a size medium. Took a lot of pressure off as I did not need a cone and I did not need to worry if I took my eyes off her for a second.......
