I love this onesie! When our puppy was in heat I bought something that I had to fish her tail through every time I changed it, and it was a nightmare! This onesie is awesome! It takes almost no cooperation from your dog to get on, I was able to get it on her as she violently rolled around on the floor. She can go potty without taking it off or messing with it at all, and I don’t need to try to pull her tail through. It has no seems or exposed Velcro that makes it uncomfortable , she seems oblivious to having it on at all. It also has a stitched area for male dogs so you are able to cut out the area for the weenis. Washes well, Velcro is secure. She was in between sizes so I went with the back length measurements and it fits great!

I had written a really thorough cool review but I was told it didn’t meet community guidelines, and after reading the guidelines I have no idea why. Anyway, here are the important things: - Great quality, the fabric is breathable and my dogs seem completely unbothered by it despite the super warm Southern CA weather. - Super strong Velcro, 2 hyperactive 6 month-old puppies haven’t been able to take it off, and in fact, I think it’s comfortable because I haven’t even seen them try. - No mess with peeing and pooping. I washed the suits today just because they had worn them for 3 days but didn’t smell bad nor had any stains. Regular washer and dryer didn’t ruin them. - Good protection of the surgical incision: even though they rub/scratch the area where the stitches are, the stitches and the incision are in perfect condition. - I had my doubts about ordering this product given the price difference with other brands (this one seemed too cheap in comparison), but I can’t find a single thing I’m not satisfied with. Well, probably the colors, didn’t love those, but leaving fashions aside, they’re perfect. - Regarding size: do measure your pet and don’t go just by weight. Both my dogs would’ve required the same size based on weight but one was small and the other medium when going by measurements. I’m glad I measured because they fit perfectly and the same size wouldn’t have fit both. - Soooo much better than the cone! They can play and do everything they did before the surgery with these. When they had the cone they wouldn’t stop whimpering. Today I put back the cone while washing the suits and they were both sad and whimpering again, all fixed when the suits were back on and the cones gone. - Easy to put on and take off, or even just take a peek at the wound without taking them off completely.

Bought two! Our border collie had a hernia repair done and I knew she wouldn’t want to wear a cone. We bought the first suit in an XXL (shes 59 pounds) and it was a little small, but not terrible. You can adjust the velcro straps to tighten or loosen the suit. Easy to undo the straps to let them go to the bathroom. I bought the second in an XXXL and it fits perfectly. Shes comfortable and happy, and we can easily check her incision by pulling the suit aside without having to worry about her licking the stitches. Would recommend.

BEST MADE surgical suit for dogs. I bought two others from a pet store and this is the best one I own! Easy to put on no snaps or buttons just simple Velcro and easy to pull up so my dog can use the bathroom. The cloth is thick but not to thick where it would make her hot. So cute on! I probably won’t even use the other suits. It effectively covers her incision and protects the site and not a hassle for her to wear. HIGHLY Recommend air your sweet pup has an abdominal surgery and you don’t want to use a cone.

This suit is great for my recovering dog as she just had her spay surgery and I’m not a fan of the plastic cones. The sizing is awful on the description so make sure you order in time or multiple sizes before the surgery date so you have what you need beforehand. I originally ordered the medium based on the chart then immediately the large. I have a 36 lb mini goldendoodle and she needed the xlg. It fits a little weird but the stretch helps and it gets the job done. It’s very cute, looks like she’s in her and covers the surgery area perfectly & she’s still able to go to the bathroom while wearing it. I’ve washed it once already and it held up good. I do think it’s a bit expensive for what it is though.

The Best surgical suit out there. I have sent back three other suits all cost more money than these. This suit is superior due to the excellent cotton fabric that is ribbed so a great fit, soft, and doesn't cause heat and moisture on the incision like the others I order. which were mostly polyester blends. I sent the others back because of being ill fitting or cheap fabric. This suit is very comfy and I can tell it has plenty of stretch around the neck and leg hole. My dog has not chewed or pulled on it. The velcro straps are great and they make the length of the suit adjustable for comfort and to deny licking access to the wound. I bought two of them for my dogs spay. I have thrown them in the washer to clean. They work like a nice dry bandage for the wound. After my girl is healed from her surgery I am going to alter them taking off the straps to use as a tee shirt for her. This suit has also had a calming effect on her. She can walk around freely and it is not restricted. She is 11.5 pounds and I bought a size medium. Took a lot of pressure off as I did not need a cone and I did not need to worry if I took my eyes off her for a second.......

The quality of this item is very nice, but the sizing is way off. I measured my pup and chose MED for the measurement. But when received, the item was way to small. Would highly recommend going up a size when ordering. Not returning, Donating to pup rescue.

So much better than a cone. After spay surgery this was so much more comfortable for her. She could eat, walk and do her business easily. Bought 3 so I could wash and always have one clean one available. They wash and dry great. The fit was perfect for her. Helped with my allergies and her shedding. Of course that's just short term but still was helpful.
