After a couple of years my Kindle died (my third one in many, many years). Was frustrated when I couldn't find a Kindle like mine that was in stock. It would have been about $130 more to replace it with a newer version. So I continued on my search. It never dawned on me to search for a "tablet", I have always been happy with my Kindles. So I could wait and hope my Kindle would be stocked again, buy the newer more expensive, or just use the Kindle we have on hand for the Grandkids. But looking on a search for "Kindles" I found some very reasonably priced tablets. I discovered they had over brand tablets. So I started to search and found several I could order at a great price. So I went on the internet to see how they rated and found this one to be a pretty good chance. So far I like it very much, only downside is the cover that is attached. The flap is made of cardboard material and included was a screen saver wasn't easy to install and the best we could do ended in bubbles and ridges. So I removed the cover and looked for a cover that would work. Found one that covered the screen, so I removed the cover and screen protecter and was very happy with the results. I have only had it for a short time, but so far am enjoying it. Oh, also got a keyboard and mouse. Don't know if I will use them, but I thought were very nice additions. ... show more

Tablet works good, was easy to set up. Sometimes a bit laggy while playing a game, but it could be my wifi connection. Videos (on Facebook) play smoothly. If you want a tablet for basics, I think that this will fit the bill.

I had already considered I lost money buying this junk and posted a review last year letting people know this is a worthless junk product that most will be disappointed if they buy it. Never took any more thought about it then they contacted me and asked me if I wanted a refund to type FULL REFUND in a return message so I figured I would since they gave me the offer and committed themselves to a refund. the following is the text conversation. I had hoped the plastic protectors and cover might work but one slip onto the floor and the screen is all cracked up. Worked pretty well for the price up until the fall. In anticipation I tried to find something that would act as better protection but noting fits correctly.
