This does work as a PS5 game storage! It only stores PS4 game - False advertising plain and simple. Wished I had read the reviews before purchasing. Tried to return it but shipping would be deducted from refund which would put me at a loss overall.

Misleading compatability you can connect to a ps5 but can only install ps4 games so basically a pointless storage addition if you need more space for games

Unlike the Seagate drives for ps4, this does not allow you to install and run new ps5 games on it. Good only for storing data from old games, otherwise a complete waste of money I wish I could refund

In the product info it says compatible with PS5 which is true when talking about the console. However you can not download and play PS5 games off of this hard drive.
