This pump worked fine. The threaded insert fitted fine into my Suzuki DF115 outboard motor. This Seachoice gear lube pump is the exact identical pump as the Quicksilver gear lube pump. I bought both to have a back up and can confirm that they are they exact same pumps so if you are beating your head trying to decide which to buy go with the lower priced one. ... show more

I purchased this to pump transmission fluid into my Mazda Miata, which has a filler opening in an awkward place. It worked very well for this and I would recommend it to others.

Awful product. It makes a mess trying to hook it up to the skeg. The spout should be coming out straight or bent upwards. There also should be a quick way to disconnect the pump after the gear box is full. This product has been in existence for many years.
