This is my first 3 way mirror I've owned. I used to cut my own hair just using a hand held mirror and the clippers in the other hand. However, this 3 way mirror is superior to the hand held mirror because i can see so much more and therefore have quite an advantage over a hand held mirror. This 3 way mirror makes cutting my own hair more of a breeze, and just overall more enjoyable. The added LED light is a also a nice plus for visibility. In addition, the mirror is also easily adjustable and the mirror is holding up well so far no problems with sturdiness or quality. I really believe if you havent tried this mirror already and use the hand held method I encourage you try this out you probably won't want to go back and if it doesnt work out amazon return policy :). ... show more

Quality all the way through, they also give you little bits of information to help you, to get started, very professional, I love it, and the mirrors and first I thought that there was a scratch on them, but I said wait a minute this is a protective sheet on this, and I was laughing. Love the quality love every thing about it, and I'm sorry one more thing. And for the adjustable handle, what they use, is something that we had on our TV set back in the days, they were called antennas, and they were very sturdy then and these bad boys are very sturdy now, great product, hey see for yourself I'm just a person who is very happy with his purchase!! ... show more

i am a older guy balding. I have been cutting my own hair for decades. I have been looking for a solution like this to make the chore easier, The one thing that keeps this at 4 stars instead of 5 is the mounting aspect. The "hooks' are great but the bottom will swing towards the wall so something is needed to "push" the bottom outwards so the mirror is straight up and down not slanted. I used nano-grab double sided reusable tape to attach a "shim" to push the mirror out to make it straight up and down. i should also note the LED light does not increase in intensity as the stickers on the mirror indicate. not a problem just that it does not work on my unit. small problem. ... show more

I absolutely love this mirror! It was exactly what my husband needed to cut his own hair at home. My favorite feature is the three-way mirror design, which lets him see every angle and makes it much easier to get an even haircut. The built-in LED light is also a huge plus because it provides better visibility, especially in rooms with limited lighting. Just got this and tried it out. Hung it on a door. I was able to adjust the height so that it was perfect, and the side mirrors stayed where I put them. Some have reported that the mirrors don't stay in place. I suppose that could happen if the mirror was hung at a vertical tilt, but if it is hung straight up and down, it shouldn't be a problem, and it wasn't for me. I got the lighted version, and the light is great for me. The light toggles on and off with a quick touch. A light touch and hold changes the intensity. Some have reported problems with the light not working. I'll update this review if I have any problems. Also reported is a problem with the charging port getting loose and not working. I haven't charged it yet but seems ok so far. Another reported issue is that the door hook can break. I do think that care must be taken when setting it up so that it doesn't get damaged, but so far it is fine. It came with a charging cable and tow plastic pieces with a hook on one end and 4 small pins on the other. I have no idea what they are for, and there is nothing in the instruction sheet about them. The mirror does indeed allow me to see the sides really well and the back pretty well too. It will be a great help when cutting my hair. Right now I'm liking it. I don't cut my hair that often, so for occasional use I think this will be great. The light is great. If it stops working, it will still be a useful mirror, and overall, I am very pleased with it. Its definitely helpful. The lights are better than nothing but I think it needs lights on the outer most edges for better light around the entire head. Also, the power button gets easily activated and the light will turn on and kill the battery. If youre just having this in a single location, it's fine but I travel a lot and so that's an issue. ... show more

Easy to use. Easy to install. Nice bright LED lighting. Holds a charge for hours. Folds up nice and flat to the wall. Size is good, but would suggest mirrors longer in length for women's hair. Good quality, could have sturdier plastic, but haven't had any issues.
