This was not an exact fit as the model number implied. Would not pump water consistently. Never reached full flow. I put the old pump back in and it pumped just fine. Leak was still there though. Which is why I was replacing it.

Original Flojet lost its way in the cold and quit. Amazon to the rescue. Wait ... what's this? Amazon shows me something that looks like a Flojet ... same size, specs, etc. Let's get it!. With spectacular and typical Amazon efficiency, it arrives on time and goes into the RV with a minimal of fuss! Turn that baby on! Hey ... what's that sound? ... sounds vaguely like a drip ... no, more like a squirt ... no, it's a river out of its banks and running down the middle of the RV! So, what's the problem? Knowing minds ask these questions, don't they. I elected to use the existing and perfectly good Flojet coupling that goes into the pump ... and water is shooting out of that thing in volumes the Colorado used to run with. Hopped on my paddle board and rowed down to the leak and swapped out the new fitting for the old ... it's just a teeny bit smaller than the version supplied with this pump. All is well now ... no more screaming on my part ... no more leaks from the pump. Moral of the story: I ain't wading into morals ... you can make up your own. ... show more

    • Leaked worse then the old pump
I bought this because the old pump had a slow drip, but this new water pump leaked out a lot of water out of where the quick connect pieces attach to this pump.this was definitely not good quality.
