Features

  • GROWTH TREATMENT: Seachem Flourish Tabs are growth stimulating tablets for plant roots which contain essential trace elements, amino acids, and vitamins.
  • VITAMINS: Seachem Flourish Tabs are rich in iron, manganese, magnesium, calcium, potassium, inositol, choline B12, biotin, and other factors that have been determined to be beneficial to aquatic plant roots.
  • NUTRIENTS: When inserted into the gravel, Seachem Flourish Tabs provide direct, time-released fertilization to the plants root zone. Nutrients are slowly made available through enzymatic action of the plants roots on the tabs.
  • TANK USE: Insert one Flourish Tab in the gravel for every 1015 cm (46 in.) radius. A standard 10 gallon aquarium requires 6 tabs. Distribute the tablets evenly throughout the gravel bed, pushing each tablet midway into the gravel bed.
  • COMPLETE MAINTENANCE: For optimal plant growth, add new Flourish Tabs to the aquarium once every three to four. Seachem Flourish Tabs will not alter pH, however, in very soft or unbuffered water, they have slightly acidic properties similar to peat moss.

Description

Seachem Flourish Tabs are growth stimulating tablets for plant roots which contain essential trace elements, amino acids, and vitamins. For over three decades, Seachem has been a company rooted in sound science. Our experience in the hobby and an educated staff of chemists and biologists are part of the package when you purchase Seachem products. Seachem remains as one of the few surviving independent and privately owned pet care companies. Seachem is owned and operated by hobbyists. All of our employees are hobbyists who maintain aquariums at home and at the office. Seachem itself was started because one such passionate hobbyist - Dr. Leo G. Morin (Founder) - recognized that the available solutions to aquarists problem wanting. This resulted in Seachem’s very first product: Cupraplex (today known as Cupramine). Over thirty years later Seachem is still approaching old problems in a new way. Seachem’s philosophy is that the knowledgeable hobbyist makes the best customer. This is reflected in solid and reliable customer education and support as well as products proven in science and performance. While Seachem has grown rapidly into a national and international firm, it retains the culture of a small company and is readily available to its customers.

  • Tested and approved!
Size: 10 ct
I decided to try Seachem after seeing YouTube video where they tried 7 different root tabs. Seachem had the far superior growth results. I had some Monte Carlo I was trying to grow on soil sacks as an epiphyte and it was not doing so well. I slipped one of these tabs under each patch of Monte Carlo & within 2 1/2 days I start noticing new growth, and now it is flourishing! Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed! ... show more

  • Mostly Good
Size: 10 ct
I use a combination of products for my tank and still consider myself a planted tank novice. I have a home made CO2 bubbler and I add API liquid CO2 which I find to be very effective. I also use liquid fertilizers and micronutrients based on what the plants seem to be telling me they need. I have goldfish, platies, kuhli loaches, mystery and nerite snails, shrimp, and some mini plecos all in the same tank with A LOT of plants. Don't hate on my combo or quantity of fish. I've done my research and have a plan for issues if any outgrow the tank. I check my parameters and stay on top of things. You do you, and let's keep this about the product. Background is just to help give context to compare to your own situation. So . . . What I like and dislike are as follows. Like: Easy to use. Long acting. Plants are happier after I add them. Some literally grow a couple of inches the following day. Seems to help with root growth when other (liquid) products seem to make no impact. I've had >10 tablets in my bags vs. <10, so I got more than I paid for. No snail or shrimp issues. I'm calling a bluff on the copper complaints or concerns. Dislike: Careful with dosing. Nitrates can spike if you go heavy or even if you just follow package directions. This makes some of my fish a little unhappy and then I have to balance out doing aggressive water changes vs. CO2 and time. Price seems a little much for what you get. Need to supplement with other products since non-rooted plants don't benefit much from this product. That being said, my rooted plants seem to be more appreciative of this product vs. liquid so I use both. Seems to leave out some of the necessary nutrients so I dose with other products between use. I'm still having a hard time finding the sweet spot with number of and spacing of tabs to keep both fish and plants happy. Yes. They can get sucked up with your siphon during water changes. Careful with that. Hope that helps. ... show more

  • My favorite plant fertilizer to use (:
Size: 10 ct
These are my favorite soil tablets, I don’t buy any other brand. Pros: Easy to use, just shove them under your plants. Very effective! My plants weren’t doing very well because my fluval soil was a couple years old. After just 3 weeks, my slow growing plant made 5 baby leaves! And is much greener and taller too. Cons: - a little pricey, but worth it imo. Much more cost effective than special soil substrates. - package always gives me a couple extra tablets. One of them gave me 12, and another gave me 14. 😎 probably just in case a couple break on the way. - SMELLY. These things smell very strongly of cat food for some reason. ESPECIALLY when you get them a little wet. Once they’re under the soil it’s not a problem, the fish don’t seem to mind LOL Tips: be quick when you put them in. If you take your time or play with them too much, they will start polluting the water and getting soft. ... show more

  • Only 7 came in the bag
Size: 10 ct
This is my second time purchasing these on amazon, so I know their a good a product and work well. So I decided to buy them again for a second fish tank. I get them shipped to my house and theres no packaging, just a shipping label on the actual bag itself. Which was odd since last time i ordered them, they came in a bubble wrapped amazon bag. So i was like whatever, as long as the tabs dont get crushed its fine. I open the bag and theres only 7 in it. I paid basically a dollar a tab and only received 7 out of the 10. So Im not even sure how i would even return these since its already been opened so im just stuck with the 7. So yea, really disappointed, as this is not a cheap product, i would of liked to get all of what i payed for since its a phenomenal product. UPDATE: I messaged Seachem directly and they gave me some replacement tabs and the arrived a couple days later, their customer service is good. ... show more
