  • 1st time optic buyer. Glock 43x - EXCELLENT DECISION!!
Color: Green Reticle type: 2 MOA Dot & 32 MOA Circle
As the title says I’m a beginner, just got into the CCW world. After doing some research I kept running into OSIGHT and their affordable yet good optics. I think being a beginner I was ok with going with OSIGHT - ignorance is bliss - and it was a great choice. I went with the green dot thinking it would stand out more in the daylight. I also ordered a torque screwdriver as well as a laser bore sight, as I know this willl not be the last optic I’ll buy. Installation was easy , it came with multiple screws, no additional plate needed. It fit right on my Glock 43x. After taking it to the range it has held ZERO. The glass is crisp and clear , the green dot light is adjustable and stands out even during sunny days. Only issue I may have is sometimes the buttons are hard to press to make my needed adjustments but besides that it’s a great product. I just got a CZ P-10f optics ready and OSIGHT is on the top of my list when it’s time to get an optic. ... show more

  • Really impressive optic
Color: Red Reticle type: 2 MOA Dot & 32 MOA Circle
I had an Sig Romeo RS on my P365 Macro, and ever since the start, I’ve had problems. From the battery tray and screw not tightening when I got it, to the dot shutting off when firing, even after getting a replacement tray and screw from Sig. I love my P365 but the optic was really making it a problem. So after getting frustrated with that I decided to give Osight a try. To be honest I haven’t taken it to the range yet, I was so excited about the unboxing experience that I had to write this review right away. I’ll update here if I have any issues at the range. But what I can tell you is that the people at Osight really made an impression on me with this optic. The price is a huge advantage, and the unboxing experience was almost like an apple product unboxing, which is saying a lot. Everything feels very premium and a lot of thought and care went into it. Instructions are easy to follow, and it is a perfect fit on the 365, including having space for the “sig locks” (the little tiny studs that help the screws keep the optic aligned. I know not all optics are compatible with those, so nice that this one is. The reticle is bright or dim depending on the setting, and shake awake works great. The best part for me is the battery compartment. Clearly 10x better designed than the Sig one. Hard to describe, but trust me, this is premium. I’ve seen a lot of reviews that say this optic holds up well over time and maintains a zero and is pretty abuse tolerant. It’s a big plus that the emitter is enclosed, and it is great for concealability. I’m super excited, and if I don’t come back and update this review, you can be sure that it has held up as other reviewers have already noted. Great job Osight! ... show more

  • Red or green.....2 moa or 6 ......That is the question!
Color: Green Reticle type: 2 MOA Dot & 32 MOA Circle
I really like Olight Products, so when I was shopping for a new enclosed dot sight I didn't hesitate gravitating toward the Osight SE. I had to choose between the red or green and the 6moa dot or the 2 moa dot with a 32moa circle. So I ordered both! This review is for the Green 2 moa dot with the circle. What a great job Osight did with this optic. I am not new to the dot optics world, I have a couple of Sig and Trijicon open emitter dot sights on pistols, so I was looking forward to testing the Osight product line. Awesome price point, quality, function and features that other "big brands" can't touch. The viewing window is ample and the clarity is on par, so this review is geared to those making the decision between the 2 moa and 6 moa options. Personally, I prefer the red 6 moa. The green is a nice well distinguished color with crisp lines, but the 2 moa dot alone is small and when combined with the circle it is a little to busy for my liking. The 2 moa dot alone is a bit more accurate, but I am slower with my follow up shots. The question is, what is your intended purpose. Hey! This is only my opinion and others might have a different opinion. Regardless, Osight knocked it out of the park with this sight. I will continue with my tests on different pistols. Either way, red or green. 2 moa or 6 moa, you can't go wrong with Osight. ... show more

  • As good as high end brands
Color: Red Reticle type: 2 MOA Dot & 32 MOA Circle
Update May 2, 2026.. I daily carry, for part of the day it is locked up when in the shop. For me the battery life has been 9 months. For full time carry I would say the life span would be 4-5 months and that is still very good for the optic and taking into account the low profile with a side loading tray all works out great. As for astigmatism the 32 MOA circle is what has me locked in on this brand and with its low price. No grape nuts with the circle just a bright ring with a faint ring offset, makes it very easy to stay on target and accurate. Had the optic bore sighted and carried for months before getting time to verify zero. Did 50 rounds of mag dumps and was just a tad low but that would be attributed to verifying zero on a 7 yard target that was set up for my grandson, didn’t cut him off from shooting he at 9yo with a goat 15 and red dot shredded the center of the target on his first day and on his second day kept his groups in a 2.5-3 inch group. Back on topic, the Osight is the easiest of my dots to pick up on and this model with a 35 MOA circle was easy peasy and held up great with mag dumping rapid fire. Liked it so much more than all other brands I purchased that I ordered the 6MOA green dot to see if it will work better with my astigmatism. Until another brand can beat the price, better view with astigmatism and low profile with quick pick up on the dot I will be only getting Osight. ... show more

  • Get Way More for Way Less - Great RDS!
Color: Red Reticle type: 2 MOA Dot & 32 MOA Circle
Kickass little Red Dot Sight with all the features you expect on the more expensive brands. I run Trijicon, Aimpoint, and a bunch of Holosun sights with no complaints. But this SE has the metal housing, all the reticle options, all the setting options, AND comes shipped in the coolest, most thoughtfully complete box (complete with LOTS of extra everything), at a price that cannot be ignored. I put one on my G48 and love it. I recommend them to my students. One student's battery tray screw vibrated loose and was lost on an outdoor range. I reached out to OSight's customer service on their behalf with a brief explanation of the lost battery tray screw. The customer service email response was immediate, and they had a new replacement screw in the mail the same day at no cost. A quality sight and next level customer service - you cannot go wrong. ... show more

  • The best optic value for the money hands down.
Color: Red Reticle type: 2 MOA Dot & 32 MOA Circle
*Week one of ownership* This is fantastic! Like a game cheat code for your pistol! Simply put the dot on the target and squeeze the trigger. LOVE the 2MOA dot only--32MOA circle only--2MOA dot w/ 32MOA circle options for this optic. I use different ones for different setups/applications. Like having 3 in 1 optics. It is a red dot. I prefer red dots to greens personally. Clear and crisp view window. Co-witnesses very well with SF Echelon, FN Reflex XL ect that have the direct to frame RMSc mounting systems or ones with suppressor ready sights. Compare to Holosun. (<---it's what I did) I believe it compares very well. I like the SE's side mounted battery. Not a fan of the charger cover models. Mounted very easy. I am mechanically inclined but have never mounted anything on a pistol before and had no issues. I do recommend using a torque screwdriver to get the proper inch-lbs on the mounting screws as well as using loctite blue. I used a bore sight laser to zero it and was spot on the first time at the range with no drift over time. Very sturdy and durable. I used the optic to work the slide with no issues. The price point Osight is coming in with and the sale right now makes this a no brainer. **Update** This is now the 3rd one of these I have purchased. The original for my SF Echelon 4.5f , the next for my FN Reflex XL, and now a final one for my FN 502. These are firmly holding zero after 500+ rounds even after using them to cycle the action and are still bright and clear. They are every bit as good as similar models that are literally double the price. Will update if anything changes but feeling REALLY good about these purchases. These MRD optics are a blessing for someone like me that would normally have to wear reading glasses to use the iron sights. ... show more

  • Echo! Echo echo...
Color: Red Reticle type: 2 MOA Dot & 32 MOA Circle
Can't say much except what others have said. Only wish I'd have grabbed a couple when I first saw them at like $140-$150 I think. Steadily saw the price go up like $10 every week as they got more popular. I saw it hit $180 with a coupon that brought it down to the previous weeks price and jumped on it. Now $200 as of this review and I'm sure it will go higher. I'm not really a fan of their flashlights but, this is an impressive little piece. Super small footprint and super low deck, despite being a side loading battery that sits parallel with the slide. Impressive. Most optics that sit this low would have one of those goofy perpendicular battery boxes that sits on the side (or even the top...) and sticks out like a thick quarter in your visual field... or worse yet, a bottom loading battery. But yeah, nice flush fit, side battery tray with screw cover and I really like the uniform width. Some optics have a shape that kind of starts one dimension and then flares out up front, which is cool sometimes but I feel like with an optic really designed for a micro compact carry gun, it should be as low pro as possible. I'm sure we're just getting started with tech like this and these will be antiquated within 5 years but maybe not... the RMR is still around and hasn't changed much in like 15 years and people still buy that bulbous expensive bottom loader despite all the other great options out there. I am a huge fan of the multi-reticle and I would definitely recommend it to ANY shooter because you can change it to fit your style but I would especially recommend it to shooters who are new to shooting red dots. I'm fairly new to red dots myself and having that circle dot really helped me get used to drawing and snapping in to the sight picture fast like it should be instead of spending a lot of time looking for the dot like most RDS newbies do. Of course the better fundamental is to try and pretend you have no dot and just punch out normally, trying to pick up your irons but it's not quite as easy as it sounds. Having that option of a larger reticle footprint that's super easy to pick up but still have great accuracy potential as opposed to just a huge solid dot is awesome. Then as you get more used to shooting with a RDS, you could transition to just a dot if that ends up being better for you, or you might just find you like the circle dot. I am actually finding myself enjoying just the big ring with no dot right now for close up tactical type shooting. My eyes seem to be able to tell my brain and body to shoot pretty accurately with it and there's no obstruction from the center dot and super easy and fast to pick up. I always liked a really wide notch rear iron with a really skinny front so I got lots of light and visual coming through. I actually shoot that style more accurately than the the traditional "target" sight setup which is to basically have almost no light coming through your front and rear alignment. I guess my brain is kinda backwards. I also prefer the red color over the new hotness that is the green, unless it's actually a projected laser dot sight ,but that's really only because of the fact that you can actually see a green laser in the daytime and most of the red ones are nearly impossible. Anyhoo... that got a little wordy. Oh well. Yeah, it's a good little sight, very clear, co-witness on my hellcat pro shows probably close to 75% of the sights from the top edge and they don't come with super tall sights so that's pretty impressive. I still haven't really decided if I wanna EDC with a RDS but this is definitely the one I would choose if I do. I carry appendix style pretty low pro and I dont wear undershirts so I would definitely want it enclosed but if you're more of an OWB carrier it wouldn't matter as much. I have a bunch of different open reflex RDS but this my first closed one, and I gotta say, I'm sold. They should pretty much all be enclosed like this I think. Maybe even sold with replacement windows somehow...IDK. BTW, if you're not hip to all the stupid acronyms, don't worry about it. Here's a translation matrix of a few of them: 1. EDC= everyday carry. The gun and or other weapon or defense tools you carry everyday. 2. RDS= Red dot sight. Also sometimes called MRDS= miniature red dot sight which are the size usually found mounted to pistol slides. Some also call these RMR's as a blanket label but RMR refers specifically to the offering from the trijicon brand that was basically the first one that anyone mounted to a pistol with a reciprocal slide. It stands for "ruggedized miniature reflex" sight. Reflex is the type of sight that basically has a reticle of light projected from a small emitter on the deck onto the lens. 3. OWB= refers to holster/carry position, "on (or sometimes "outside"the) waste band" 4. IWB= inside waste band. This can be many positions around the circumference of your waste and is preferable for more discreet concealed carry. 5. AIWB= this term specifically describes the "appendix" style of in waste band carry which positions the gun low, just above the belt line and either just left or just right of the buckle. Usually whichever side your dominant hand is. There's tons more but that can get you started. I hope this can help someone. We need to share more knowledge in this community and stop treating news like idiots cause we were all there once and we have attacks coming at us from everywhere else to worry about. We need all the allies we can get ... show more
