Fantastic product. I didn't completely realize I had lost so much of my hearing. My wife was getting frustrated with me thinking I wasn't listening to her or paying attention, and I had to keep asking her to repeat herself because I couldn't hear her. I decided enough was enough, I'll try a less expensive option than a doctor and $5k hearing aids. After going through the setup and picking a 4th option, I can hear frequencies and tones I didn't realize I'd stopped hearing. These are great. It will take some getting used to the differences in tones of noise, but I can deal with it. I swapped the medium and small size trumpets and settled on the small as the medium was muffling sounds like ear plugs or filters. I can hear what my wife is saying the first time, most of the time, if it's not a noisy environment. That's the central part I'm happy about.

I was pleasantly pleased! My hearing issue is somewhat beyond the mild region. I have a hearing aid from Costco. Ver good but bulky. Tried to get a Costco’s “in the ear” but they could not sell me those models since my hearing was a bit above mild (store policy). I asked them if I could try theirs and they let me do it after setting it my hearing profile. I really liked it and it was nearly invisible and the sound quality was great. They recommended that I look into Eargo. Well. I bought the Eargo SE for $1600. It takes about 10 minutes to fit it to your hearing profile (easy to use Eargo App). It is GREAT! You have to download the App and once synced with the Eargo with Bluetooth, you can set the volume and has 4 preset programs. I am extremely happy with it. Please remember that it is TINY and does not have all the bells and whistles like connecting directly to TV or your phone. They have done wonders for such a SMALL device and it has all you need!! Well done and thank you.

Received my eargo se awhile go and can’t be more pleased. I followed the instructions and watched their videos and believe me you can’t go wrong. I’m still new with it and experimenting with different things on the app but my friends are so happy that I am not asking them to repeat something all the time. It’s nice getting a product that is better than you expected

After being tested and finding moderate hearing loss, I decided to try these in ear hearing aids. I've been very pleased with their performance. I was skeptical that the different settings on the app would actually change the performance parameters of the hearing aids, but they certainly do. For example, using the restaurant setting cuts out the background conversations and clinking of dishes. I'm glad I made this purchase.

Pros: These hearing aids are small and discreet, which I really like. Once you get used to having something in your ear, they’re comfortable to wear for long periods. The included instructions are clear, cleaning is simple, and the battery life is solid—about 16 hours on a single charge. They also recharge quickly, which is convenient. But... Cons: For the price, I was surprised they don’t have Bluetooth capability for phone calls or streaming music, which feels like a missed opportunity. The app is clunky and not very refined, with very limited adjustments—no equalizer options to boost the highs that people with mild to moderate hearing loss often need. Adjusting the volume is awkward, too: there’s no number indicator, just two loud beeps when pressing the + or - buttons on the app, and only a few steps between minimum and maximum volume. I also can’t tell any real difference between the listening programs (normal, music, TV, meeting), which makes them feel unnecessary. Feedback is another issue—if you turn up the volume, you can’t hold your phone or even your hand too close to your ear without squealing. On top of that, there’s no noise cancellation, so background sounds are always present, which makes conversations in louder settings harder. The charging case lid isn’t attached (easy to lose), and getting the aids seated correctly in the charger is a bit fiddly. Overall: They do work, and for a basic, entry-level option they’ll help. But at this price point, I expected better software, more thoughtful design choices, and features closer to what you’d find in higher-end $1,700 hearing aids. (TWO STARS- and that’s being kind...)
