  • Favorite controller!
Color: Black
This is hands-down my favorite controller I’ve ever used. The instant triggers are incredibly satisfying — they respond the moment you press them, making every shot and action feel sharp and precise. The TMR thumbsticks feel amazing during gameplay, offering just the right amount of resistance and smooth movement for total control. It’s also super comfortable to hold, even during long sessions — everything about the design feels natural and well thought out. The paddles on the back are perfectly positioned, easy to reach without adjusting your grip, and super responsive. You can tell a lot of care went into making this thing perform at a high level. If you’re serious about gaming, this controller is absolutely worth it. ... show more

  • Scuf valor pro!
Color: Black
Honest opinion, controller felt amazing, very responsive, mouse click triggers and extra four back buttons were responsive as with the tmr sticks, best tmr sticks I’ve felt yet, controller grip felt good in hands, overall very smooth feeling controller gameplay wise didn’t have any issues whatsoever, only returned it because it was a tad to big for MY hands personally, which made it hard to game and a little uncomfortable, if you have bigger sized hands definitely give this controller a shot. ... show more

  • Edit- I may have found a dealbreaking flaw: Tentatively the best Xbox controller I've found
Color: White
Update 2: I'm dropping my score from a 5 to a 2 because this issue has become persistent and is a lot more disruptive than my issues with the G7 Pro, especially considering the price. I ordered a replacement and returned the first controller, but unfortunately after a couple days I had my first disconnect mid-game. I also forgot to mention in my first update, but it will often also act like you pressed the Xbox button and open that menu. While that issue is better than a full disconnect, it's still really disruptive. It wouldn't matter for single player games, but it's a huge inconvenience for online multiplayer games because you can't just pause it. I've honestly never had a controller do this and the biggest issue is it doesn't auto reconnect, and there's no quick fix. I tried plugging it in with USB, but then it freaks out thinking it a new controller and won't work. The only way I've found to fix it is holding down the Xbox button for about 10 seconds till it force shuts down, then holding the button again to power up again. It will always reconnect after this and usually is fine for the next hour or two, but you're basically frozen for at least 30 seconds. Which for games like Arc Raiders can be an absolute death sentence. I had this happen this weekend where I was frozen out in the open and had to perform this restart process and almost got downed but a friend was able to protect me. It's honestly bizarre and I don't understand what's happening, because I've owned tons of wireless Xbox controllers over the years, both ones that use the built in wireless and ones that use a dongle, and I've never had one that has hard disconnects like this. I scrolled through the reviews and noticed one after I wrote mine where someone else also is having disconnect issues. So unless Scuf can provide a software update to fix this by the time my return window ends, I'll be returning this one and getting the upcoming ROG TMR controller that comes out later this month. Update 1: I have had issues with the controller randomly becoming unresponsive while playing, but the controller itself gives no indication there's anything wrong (you'd expect some of the indicator lights to let you know). It also will not reconnect automatically. You have to hold the Xbox button down until the controller shuts down, then power it back on and it will reconnect. It happens fairly infrequently, but when it happens in the middle of a game its definitely a hassle. Yesterday I had it happen at the start of a match so I had some time to check, and I did find the light on the USB dongle was blinking. So it does seem the controller is disconnecting. However, I cannot find a pattern that would explain the why it is intermittent. The console never moves, I'm always sitting in the same spot, I don't have anything nearby that would interfere, and it happens during different games. I reached out to SCUF support to see if it was a known issue with a known fix, but they tried to just run me through an RMA. But when I told them I just wanted to find out if they had an easy fix to avoid a return, they told me "Unfortunately, I must confirm that your controller is not supposed to act this way.". So I'm going to return this one and order a replacement to see if it has this same issue. So for the past 2 years, I've been trying to find a better controller for my Xbox. Specifically, I wanted something that had 4 programmable buttons (like back paddles/buttons), adjustable trigger stops, and is reliable; which was actually much more difficult to find than I initially realized. But this is the best controller I've tried that I finally checks all my boxes. It has 4 programmable buttons, the sticks are precise and don't drift or stick, the buttons respond to every press, it feels well built, and as a bonus it's wireless. I'll update my review if I come across anything negative, but the first few days I've been very happy with it. The only real downsides I've noticed are it doesn't currently have a companion app like most controllers have, but it does say one is coming soon. And I'm not as big of a fan of the layout of the back buttons, but it might just be something I get used to. It's still a very good controller otherwise, and until the Asus ROG Rakiri II comes out, this seems like the best/only option available that checks all these boxes. For anyone wondering, here are the controller's I've tried and what made them unsuitable Xbox Elite 2: On paper it's a great controller, but the sticks are atrocious. They don't always recenter and will drift if you don't crank the tension all the way up. And after just under 2 years it randomly stopped powering on. If they released this with TMR sticks it would be my preferred controller. Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra: The absolute worst controller I've ever owned. Buttons wouldn't always respond, sticks would sometimes hold in whatever direction you pressed until you powered it fully off and back on, and it would often inexplicably disconnect. And generally compared to all the other controllers I tried it felt incredibly cheap; like if you were blindfolded you'd think it was a $20 controller. The companion app was also horrible, incredibly buggy and difficult to use. But the worst part was the triggers had such a thin piece of plastic at the hinge they would snap off with normal use (had two replaced for this under warranty after a few months). Gamesir G7 Pro I really thought this would be the controller for me. It was my 1st with TMR sticks, which feel much more precise compared to hall effect. It only has two back buttons, but it does have two programmable buttons by the bumpers which I think a lot of people like. Unfortunately, it had issues with the right trigger and A button not always responding to presses, which really stood out playing Expedition 33, which requires precise timing for parries/dodging. Also, the base version doesn't work wirelessly with the Xbox (though they have some special edition ones for $100 and up that do). I initially planned to get the Asus ROG Rakiri II since it seems nearly identical to this controller spec-wise. But currently it has no release date so I decided to go for this one. ... show more

  • No fix per Scuf. Unusable for serious competitive play
Color: Black
The media could not be loaded. Starting off, review is coming from someone who focuses primarily on Ranked Play in Call of Duty and a will be returning the controller. When using the controller, I’ve found a continuous issue with mis-input or no input detected from the right analog stick, specifically when small, precise adjustments are needed for accuracy at long range. When looking into the Deadzone tester in Black Ops 6, I tried making small circles with the analog stick and you can see that the stick snaps back to center as well as acts more like a 4 way d-pad. I’ve compared this issue with my Dual Sense Edge and am able to make those small circles. So this is specific to this controller. I tried recalibrating the controller but it did not resolve the issue. I then reached out to Scuf about this problem. Their product team reviewed the video I provided and have said that this is caused by the built in dead zone from the current firmware of the controller and that there is no way to disable it. I will be returning this controller and advise anyone serious in competitive fps play to steer clear of it and potentially all of Scuf’s new controllers with the TMR sticks. Their explanation really only explains the snapping back to center and not so much of the analog stick acting as a 4 way d-pad under small movements. This is a firmware issue that Scuf needs to address and how no one has noticed this yet is baffling to me. ... show more

  • Almost perfect
Color: White
Honestly, if this is your first TMR controller it’s nots bad. It’s certainly feels great in the hands, feels premium, and much better than its wired counterpart. This thing is a joy to hold, much more ergonomic then the Wolverine v3 pro/TE (as in your whole hand will actually fit very comfortably on this thing). Now, the bad: these sticks feel like something is wrong. I’ve used the razer wolverine pro 8k, Gamesir G7 Pro, Vader 4 pro, and the sticks on this controller just feel no where as responsive, even when setting the deadzones to 0 using the companion app. Hoping this was just my experience but, it made this unusable in FPS games for me. Almost like there was some built in dead zone I couldn’t get rid of. Oh, if you use Kontrol Freaks, they don’t work on this controller. It will hit the housing of the controller. ... show more
