The instructions are not well written and the images are blurry. The directions to assemble and mount on the car are really bad. They don’t go into enough detail as to what to do with all the parts. There was another reviewer here who mentioned a video by auto repair guys which I wish I would have seen first before spending 45 minutes in the hot weather trying to read the directions. The video from auto repair guys is called great roof rack crossbars…. There is a pad for included so they won’t scratch your paint. Assembly could have been simplified if page 1&2 of the directions were not the same page; leaving my friend watching a video to complete the job. Also, one of the fasteners was not threaded, as shown in the photo. Once I get to use it; I’ll let you know how I like it

Easy to put together. (Need 2 people) The main rails are strong. Door hooks don't fit 100%, move around easily. Main rail caps don't fit, one of them broke when pushing it on with my hand. All and all look around first or more.

The media could not be loaded. Make sure it fits your car. “Auto Repair Guys” did an assembly and install video which really helped me. Looks great and pretty sturdy. Mine came in all black though so that was nice. Don’t mind the blister on my foot in the video

    • Good value compared to what other racks out there
The only thing lacking is locks for these roof racks. Aside from that they are a great value compared to the price of most locking roof racks. Took a little bit of time but installed them my daughter about 3 weeks ago. Only used it for surfboards but it worked great for those.

I was able to use the racks to transport a kayak, but the quality and fit are very poor. The rack I was sent was a most likely a previous customer return- one of the caps was broken before I tried mounting it. The pads for under the clamps were terrible quality, I had to buy replacements.
