Good- easy to assemble, 90 % pre assembled,relatively light, well engineered, fast, comfy stock seat strictly for short distances, overall a good beginner bike Bad- gear system is primitive could be better - changes automatically when in middle order gears, seats are tight, padded shorts helps.

Great bike for the price (paid $499). Crashed my other bike (old inexpensive Mountain Bike) in March and needed a replacement. It was easy to assemble but I recommend to get a different seat (typical small/hard seat). The bike rides very nicely and the brakes are, compared to my previous bike, really good. ... show more

Works as an entry-level road bike, tires aren't great

Assembly wasn't too difficult, it took about an hour and didn't require anything complex or significant adjustment of gears (for me at least). After a few hundred miles I have enjoyed the riding and while it isn't anything fancy (aluminum frame, pad brakes etc) it does shift gears pretty well and isn't so heavy. I did not like the tires that came with it however - they gave me tons of flats consistently on my normal routes. After going through about 5 tubes in a row, swapping out for sturdier tires was necessary for me to stop the flats, adding to the wheel weight. ... show more

This bike is very light and awesome to ride if both pedals are operational. I’m not sure if you send replacement pedals that malfunctioned but that would be cool if you would.. other than that the bike seems to be ok.

flat tire in 3 days, replacement inner tube came fast

My front tire went flat in 3 days. Called up and they sent me a new tube. Installed it without too much difficulty. Tire holds air now. Also and as I found out when dissembling the front wheel, the original inner tube failed at a seam, not a puncture from a spoke. Found no spokes protruding through the rim. As to ride, the bike has a nice lightness. It seems easier to peddle than my old one. The low gear is welcome on up hill climbs. Gear shifting is smooth. Occasionally got off gear. Once had to replace chain on gear. I guess the assembly could use some tuning. ... show more
