  • Good Quality but Assembly is not direct
Color: Red/Step-Through Frame Size: 16-Inch Frame
The instructions that come with the bike don’t match how the bike comes in the box. The breaks were already assembled and it’s a general instruction so you have to make sure you’re following the correct one. This only mattered because I had never built a bike before! My husband was able to help me and once it was together it’s an AMAZING bike! I’m loving it so far and the red is so perfect! It operates smoothly and the seat is really comfortable compared to “normal” bike seats. The grips on the handlebars are a bit more hard rubber than I like but overall it was well worth the price. ... show more

This beach cruiser is a great bike. Has many pros and a few cons. I will start with Con’s. The obvious con, it is a bit expensive. But all I can say you will always pay for quality so anybody looking at this make sure you are ok with the price. So don’t sit here and complain about the price, if it’s not in your budget. Assembly is fairly simple but time consuming. So make sure you have time and some tools on hand. And last the handle bars feel some what small for the bike, only thing that feels a little cheap. That’s about it as far as cons which realistically not bad. Pros. If you are looking at this bike you are going to pay a pretty penny but you are getting quality. The bike is very sturdy. It looks flawless and it’s weight capacity is about 220 lbs but handles well over that. It rides very smooth and the seat is very comfortable. I have had this bike for about a month and it has been a great investment. Best of all, the looks you get while riding this classic bike is a well worth it. I hope this helps anybody that is debating to pull the trigger. I’m glad I did ... show more

  • Decent cruiser bike for the money
Color: Red/Step-Through Frame Size: 16-Inch Frame
My only serious complaint about the bike, enough to lose a star, is that assembly was a mess (to the point that some of what came assembled from the factory had to be taken apart because it was done wrong). The chain hadn't even been put on the bike, which itself wasn't too much of an issue but illustrates the rush with which the bike was boxed and thrown on the cargo ship. Also, be prepared to work around hardware (like the fender mounts) that wasn't made/drilled symmetrically at the factory. Sadly this is only a little worse than my experience putting my wife's similarly priced, Mongoose branded bike together. But if you're reasonably mechanically inclined you should be able to handle it yourself, particularly if your cursing is up to the task. The frame is solid and attractive, and I've gotten compliments from strangers on how the bike looks. The load platform on the back feels a little flimsy but I'd guess that the stamped 25 lb weight limit is doable. The seat I may end up replacing - being a cruiser, the only "suspension" for the purposes of absorbing impacts is the tires and the seat, and this seat looks nice but isn't really padded at all. I also had to shoot a good amount of lithium grease up into its springs to get it to stop perpetually creaking. No issues yet with popped tires/tubes as some others have reported; I'd guess it's been ridden twenty miles or so at this point. Ultimately, if you're not looking to spend half a grand on a bike, which we simply couldn't justify for bikes that will be mostly ridden across a park to get to a brewery, this is the best you're likely to find. ... show more

  • Beautiful bicycle
Color: Red/Step-Through Frame Size: 16-Inch Frame
Beautiful bike I love it arrived on time I took the easy way out and brought it right to my local bike shop for 80 bucks. They assembled it for me. Tuned it up. Got it road ready. If I don’t get any snow in the next week, I’m gonna try it out.

  • great bike and price...
Color: Red/Step-Through Frame Size: 16-Inch Frame
3 months update - still doing good :) no issues, put lights all over if for safety, have not adjusted anything! I would buy again if needed. new seat is all its needed if you want softer. I added a basket that ruined front logo, so be careful on baskets. 1 week update - I got lucky and paid $95 on sale. so price now went up double. so I guess I got it after summer sale. great bike, no issues. new seat is great and I put lights all over for safety. If you are wondering to get 3 speed or this 7 speed, the 3 speeds are in this 7 speed are the high , low and middle. the extra ones do not help so much more. so 3 works too, but it is nice to have 7 but did not know that until I tested mine against a 3 speed. Great bike and price... but why is price going down ? idk... one day review- put it together in a few hours mainly because I am a little rusty building bikes.this bike comes almost together. The front brakes are the toughest but if you follow directions closely it will not be a problem, back ones are set up already. I will get new handle bars which are the larger cruiser type. and maybe new seat. Lights all over for safety. everything was all perfect. I made two scratches building it, one flipping it over to put front tire on I hit back rack. and putting on seat I did not use a ratchet, using a Allen wrench should not be used since its tight area :) It is faster then a 3 speed coaster brakes type for sure. This is a one day review, if any updates I will add. ... show more

  • Came smashed up with various things bent, scratched, dented, and broken.
Color: Red/Step-Over Frame Size: 18-Inch Frame
The bicycle showed up in a thin cardboard box, with one end apready opened. The bike was somewhat pre-assembled. The rear cargo rack was smashed and bent so bad that the paint has chipped off the bike around the creases in the metal. There are several other small scratches, dings, and bends around the bike. The bike came with one reflector mounted to one wheel, and no reflector on the other. The right pedal contacts the chain guard during crank rotation. Under normal circumstances when I buy an expensive product and it arrives looking like its been hurled off a cliff, I would return it immediately. But I have a ride planned and needed this fast. I decided to assemble it, and atleast take it outside and see if I could live with the damage for now, and maybe get schwinn to send me a replacement cargo rack later. I carried the bike outside to take it for a short test ride. I set it down very gently on the ground and the chain fell off... I guess I'll try finding a bike shop tomorrow to see how much money it will take to make this bike ride-able. My advice to a potential buyer of this bike would be to not make the same mistake I did. Look elsewhere. ... show more
