  • great bike and price...
Color: Red/Step-Through Frame Size: 17-Inch Frame
3 months update - still doing good :) no issues, put lights all over if for safety, have not adjusted anything! I would buy again if needed. new seat is all its needed if you want softer. I added a basket that ruined front logo, so be careful on baskets. 1 week update - I got lucky and paid $95 on sale. so price now went up double. so I guess I got it after summer sale. great bike, no issues. new seat is great and I put lights all over for safety. If you are wondering to get 3 speed or this 7 speed, the 3 speeds are in this 7 speed are the high , low and middle. the extra ones do not help so much more. so 3 works too, but it is nice to have 7 but did not know that until I tested mine against a 3 speed. Great bike and price... but why is price going down ? idk... one day review- put it together in a few hours mainly because I am a little rusty building bikes.this bike comes almost together. The front brakes are the toughest but if you follow directions closely it will not be a problem, back ones are set up already. I will get new handle bars which are the larger cruiser type. and maybe new seat. Lights all over for safety. everything was all perfect. I made two scratches building it, one flipping it over to put front tire on I hit back rack. and putting on seat I did not use a ratchet, using a Allen wrench should not be used since its tight area :) It is faster then a 3 speed coaster brakes type for sure. This is a one day review, if any updates I will add. ... show more

  • Good Quality but Assembly is not direct
Color: Red/Step-Through Frame Size: 17-Inch Frame
The instructions that come with the bike don’t match how the bike comes in the box. The breaks were already assembled and it’s a general instruction so you have to make sure you’re following the correct one. This only mattered because I had never built a bike before! My husband was able to help me and once it was together it’s an AMAZING bike! I’m loving it so far and the red is so perfect! It operates smoothly and the seat is really comfortable compared to “normal” bike seats. The grips on the handlebars are a bit more hard rubber than I like but overall it was well worth the price. ... show more

  • A lot of perfecting and fixing
Color: Red/Step-Through Frame Size: 17-Inch Frame
I love this bike, it looks awesome and I love that I can put a basket on the back BUT there's some issues. It took me 3 hours and a lot of tears to put this together because the directions are horrible and there's no good videos out there. I couldn't get the handle bar in, eventually found a video showing to take the bottom piece off and stick that down the tube then the handle bars. One of the peddles wouldn't twist on and I almost went and bought new ones but got lucky my last try and finally got it to thread into the hole. I cannot get the seat and handles bars tight enough. I'm constantly tightening them and one day the seat completely fell off and the metal pipe holding it fell far into the tube and I had to get pliers to pull it out, not easy and glad this happened before I left the driveway. Main issue is the brakes. A lot of adjusting is needed, I still haven't perfected it and I think I'm just going to have a pro look at it. The brakes rub on the tires and it's just been progressively getting worse as I ride, not sure why it's getting worse probably screws loosening up. Directions need to be better and I shouldn't have this big of a problem with the brakes . I would not recommend getting if you're not ready to do some tweaking to it ... show more

  • beautiful, well made bike
Color: Red/Step-Through Frame Size: 17-Inch Frame
The bike came well packed. It was easy to assemble. It came with a defective part which I noticed and emailed Schwinn customer service and had the most amazing customer service experience ever! They answered me the same day within a few hours and shipped me the replacement part later that day. I received the part 2 days later. My fiancee loves her new bike ! ... show more

  • Quality is very poor, despite how it looks like an attractive bike
Color: Red/Step-Over Frame Size: 18-Inch Frame
Schwinn used to be an American classic, now it’s just a waste of money in time. When I first got the bike, the gears attached to the pedals were wicked bent and I considered sending it back then, but was able to bend them back and get it working, very flimsy. The chain derailer wasn’t terrible to tune however, in the fourth and fifth gears, you could tell it was trying to shift up and down. The brakes were a mess because they were also warped and made a very poor metal. There was no way to get the front brakes and the back brakes exactly where they needed to be without bending them also. It aesthetically is pleasing, but after riding it for a few days the cheap metal was warping, and I had a tune it constantly. The bike suffered a malfunction when I was on 12 mile ride and I wiped out. There was no way to tune the breaks after that. I was unaware at the time, but the professional bike shops in my area don’t sell Schwinn anymore because of the poor quality. Wish I knew I had that knowledge before I bought it. If you want to get it for a wall piece or just to look at why not but it’s definitely not rideable. And if you’re a little bit older and prone to injury, especially stay away from it. ... show more

  • Head turner
Color: Red/Step-Through Frame Size: 17-Inch Frame
This beach cruiser is a great bike. Has many pros and a few cons. I will start with Con’s. The obvious con, it is a bit expensive. But all I can say you will always pay for quality so anybody looking at this make sure you are ok with the price. So don’t sit here and complain about the price, if it’s not in your budget. Assembly is fairly simple but time consuming. So make sure you have time and some tools on hand. And last the handle bars feel some what small for the bike, only thing that feels a little cheap. That’s about it as far as cons which realistically not bad. Pros. If you are looking at this bike you are going to pay a pretty penny but you are getting quality. The bike is very sturdy. It looks flawless and it’s weight capacity is about 220 lbs but handles well over that. It rides very smooth and the seat is very comfortable. I have had this bike for about a month and it has been a great investment. Best of all, the looks you get while riding this classic bike is a well worth it. I hope this helps anybody that is debating to pull the trigger. I’m glad I did ... show more
