Just what a great road bike should be. It's very light and extremely well made. Multi-speed road bikes have been around for a long time, but Schwinn went back to the drawing board with this one, especially when talking about the controls and maintainability. You won't regret this buy.

A little heavy and chunky.... I had an older version of this and had to give that to my sister so wanted to get a replacement. The older version is much better quality and rides better. This one is somehow very downgraded version of Schwinn road bike. Kind of disappointing...

I love the shifting on the brake lever housing. I didn't even need to tune it. It came perfect. Aluminum frame w/graphite fork, about 33 pounds. A lighter bike isn't necessary and cost thousands of dollars more. I use it for strength building and exercise. The erase of operation builds confidence. Looks stunning too. Nice whip. ... show more

For this price they should have at least included the needed tools. Mine came sealed but looks used. Several cable ties inside already cut, the manual was all wrinkled up as if used and wasn't the correct manual for this bike. Size also seems larger than advertised. Bike chain wasn't connected at all, I had to put it on myself. I'm just returning this as it doesn't feel safe and may be a used item. I wanted to love this but I can't for this price. ... show more

Fast shipping, good packaging, zero damage. The bike itself is a good quality starter for the price. I got the Phocus 1400 17” for my wife who is 5-2 and its perfect size.
