  • I’m 5 Foot 7 Inches
Style: Network 1.5 Color: Matte Blue Size: 18-Inch Frame
Schwinn Network 1.5 700c /28mm Matte Blue 15 inch Frame I was a bit nervous about buying a bike online since I read the reviews how some customers were missing parts to the bike. Also I wasn’t too sure about the size, I just went with the suggested sizing according to my height on the Schwinn sizing chart. The bike came with all parts included thankfully (except tools of course), and the size was correct for my height ( more about the height further down -keep reading.) Since I knew I was going to assemble this bike, I watched a lot of videos on how to assemble. And they were all different but similar. The instructions provided are universal, and the video on the Schwinn website is universal as well. But it wasn’t hard to figure out, it was actually less steps than the videos. I’m 5 Foot 7 Inches, and this bike is perfect for standard sizing. I have to put the seat all the way down so it can be to my height level. Only my toes reach the ground while I sit on the seat. I was looking for a bike that let’s put my feet flat on the floor while I’m sitting. I’m actually looking for expert advice to see if I can change my wheel from the 28” to a 26 or even 24 inch. Not sure if I can yet. Other than that, it’s a good bike, packaged really well, super protected. ... show more

  • I'm a happy biker
Style: Network 3.0 Color: White Size: 18-Inch Frame
I really didn't want to pay the price at a local bike shop for a Giant or Trek so I opted for the Schwinn. I'm a casual rider with my mountain biking days behind me now. I just wanted a comfortable bike to ride on the roads or soft trail. For my purpose this bike fits the bill. The quality seems to be there for what the price paid is. The bike came with all the parts the instructions were easy enough and parts seem to be of good quality. I've used the bike a dozen rides and I'm happy with it so far. ... show more

  • Purchased as USED/GOOD AS NEW
Style: Network 3.0 Color: White Size: 18-Inch Frame
Well, I often attempt to buy used items because most fr Often have experienced good/excellent result when purchasing from Amazon any open box or returned item at a reduced price. This bicycle has a couple issues that seem to be related to the previous owner. Mechanical parts of the bike are factory pre-assembled and there's very little that you need to finish yourself, but the guy who owned it before me jacked-up a couple of things so that I had to take stuff apart and put it back together the opposite way around LOL One note in particular I'm not entirely happy, the Schwinn product description promises Shimano shifters and derailleurs, however the ones that are on this bike are not marked or indicated in any way to be Shimano brand. And they don't look like the product is pictured on the Shimano website. So maybe they got switched out by the previous guy, I don't know (but that could explain some of the stuff I had to re-do, such as the brake and gear cables from the handlebars were backwards and tangled) . But, even as a middle-aged lady who hasn't deconstructed and rebuilt a bike since Junior High School, I was able to do this one by myself in not too long, even having to do some head-scratching to study it more closely because it had apparently been altered. Only issue I'm really having with functionality is on me; that I've never used trigger/flipper gear shifts, and there's a learning curve here... I keep doing something wrong and the chain keeps dropping off the gear. I spent some time looking online for instructions how to use these things, but comments from average people, it's almost impossible to understand their language skills. Guess I'll have to pop into a bike shop and have some kid show me how to do it LOL ... show more

  • First impressions & assembly
Style: Network 3.0 Color: White Size: 18-Inch Frame
Bike was easy to assemble, as it arrives mostly assembled aside from the seat, handlebar, pedals, and front wheel. Brakes needed some adjusting (although perhaps that's because the people responsible for assembling it decided to forgo the instructions ... hmmm). It's lightweight and comfortable to ride. A big improvement over my very solid 1990s-era mountain bike! For those wondering about size, I'm 5'7" and had to raise the seat up from it's lowest position about 2 - 3" for it to be a comfortable riding height (although I like a high seat). Although not shown in the photos, this bike DOES come with a kickstand and front and rear reflectors. I made the mistake of ordering a kickstand before taking the bike out of the box. Whoops. Nothing negative to report, just yet! ... show more
