  • My daily commute!
Color: Gloss Grey Size: Small/Medium
The media could not be loaded. This bike is such a pleasure to ride! I've had the Schwinn Marshall for almost 3 months and I absolutely love it! I previously used my PUBLIC C7 bike to commute back and forth to work, but this Schwinn just makes the commute so much lovelier with the ability to go easy and fast on days when I just don't want to put a lot of energy into getting home. The pedal assist is great when I've had a long, tiring day! I live in the mountains where even "flat" roads feel like an incline or decline. The bike handles steep inclines really well. I use this bike at least 5 days a week and only have to charge it once or twice. I've ridden home from late night concerts with ease--I love that the bike comes equipped with a front headlight and a light across the bar that helps illuminate the ground underneath--such a great feature for navigating through the darkness. The bike handles really well in rain (been caught in some downpours this summer!) and also does well on bumpy, dirt roads. The bike feels very stable riding in both scenarios. If I could add one suggestion for the bike, I'd suggest adding a splash guard on the rear tire--I've gotten pretty messy from those rainy, dirt road rides. The Schwinn Marshall is a really good looking, sturdy bike. I get lots of compliments. I opted to have the bike assembled at my local bike shop. The guys at the shop said it was such an easy bike to put together and the quality of the bike rivals those almost double the price. They were really impressed. The bike is a tad heavy, but I'm able to lift it easily onto my Yakima bike rack. I'm 5'4", bought the S/M and I have the bike at the lowest seat setting. I tried to add a rear rack, but due to the gears on the back and the height of the seat, the bike shop was unable to add any that they had in stock because it would have raised the seat too high for my height. Will reach out to Schwinn to see if they have an option. After 3 months of riding, the bike has better response when stopping and taking quick turns. I have had no issues with the bike. I find myself enjoying the bike more and more with each use. It is such a fun and solid ride. ... show more

  • Best Money I Ever Spent
This bike is so comfortable, so smooth andvso easy to peddle without assistance. With the lowest peddle assist it will take off like a rocket so be prepared!!! It rides great on pavement and sand trails. The gears shift smoothly and I've found taking off in 2nd is perfect for me. I'm 5'2 and my seatbus in the lowest position and it is perfect. I love the color!!! Assemble was fine and I have never assembled a bike before. I found a video on you tube for the SchwinnC Coston and just mentally adapted it to my Marshall. The quick release front wheel was a bit difficult and I had to take a break then when I went back it snapped right into place, so I have no idea what I did wring at first except I was tired at that point and just needed the break. The suspension is very tight and I need someone to help me adjust that but in every other way this bike is perfect. I have ridden over 30 minutes, using all features just testing it out and the battery light hasn't shown any use yet at all. It charged in an hour upon arrival. The handle bars and grips are very comfortable and the fit between the seat, peddles and bar are perfect for my 5'2 130lbs body. The head and tail lights are bright, and the side frame lights are just plain cool looking but makes it where you can be easily seen in the dark. I love this bike!!! I road it a little the first day ( bad weather hit) and could hardly sleep because of the anticipation of riding today. This bike is totally worth the money and the year I spent researching and budgeting to get it!!! ... show more

  • Unreliable Bike
Color: Matte Grey Size: Large/X-Large
A full charge gets me around 13-15 miles, I commute just from school to my house only and am always afraid that I will never make it. The bike looks nice but after riding for 2 weeks both the pedals fell off and I had to walk home. When going up hill I have to full throttle and build momentum to make it and the seat is uncomfortable after a while. The lights on the bike are good though, it has a clean look to it and the display is good. The chains sometimes fall off but that could be my fault. Since the pedals fell off, I have to commute using the throttle and put it on the lowest speed to conserve battery and I barely get home before the battery dies. ... show more

  • Love it so far
Color: Matte Grey Size: Small/Medium
Arrived on time and double boxed. Assembly was straight forward, put a wheel on, put the handlebar on and so on. Assembly instructions are vague but the manual is detailed. Took an hour to put it together, you’ll need a Philips head screwdriver that’s not in the included tool kit and a tire pump as the wheels don’t include air. Had to detangle the chain from the derailleur and cassette, but it shifts smoothly enough with no adjustments. I’ve taken it out for several rides at this point and can say a few things. -the seat is as uncomfortable as any stock bicycle seat. -Battery life is adequate. A 90ish minute 20ish mile ride with a mix of pedal assist and full throttle all electric seems to run the battery down about 80%. -not as difficult to pedal with no assist as expected and could be ridden/pedaled with no juice. -only 7 gears but with the 5 levels of pedal assist, hills flatten. -this thing is quiet and very fun. ... show more
