I just got this and installed it in two windows. I cut it in two and it fit two of my windows perfectly. They are light weight and easy to cut. And they come with two different adhesive options. I used the velco ones since I couldn't figure out how to use the clear dots (its silly but I really couldn't figure how they stick to it). Its gonna be over 100 here all week and this is helping block out ALL the sun. I love how easy it is to hang up: no poles, no holes, just stick it up and be done. Highly recommend. ... show more

So like the title says, this definitely does the job. I cut them to all window sizes, they work great. When I have them down they block 100% light, you do need to put some velcro on the bottom too though because it is light and if it has creases it will lift and allow light leaks. Also not perfect for using daily. If you like to lower for the sun and raise them when you like the sun, the velcro is hard to do and comes off easily. Definitely blocks out all natural light. Excellent for this shift workers that need to sleep during the day. The fabric is very light and easy to cut to size. These blackout mechanisms work as advertised. Little to no light gets into my room; HOWEVER, there's a STRONG chemical smell. If it weren't for the awful smell, I would give it 5 stars.
