Not a sponsored review. I purchased with my own funds. I'm only giving one star due to the packaging and the cold throw. Which was okay, only when I initially opened it. For me it's only good for esthetic purposes. When I started to burn the candle there was no scent at all. It legit smelled just like melting wax. I would have definitely returned it but, I started burning it for a couple hours. Thinking perhaps it would throw a small hint of gardenia or something but nothing. I suggest others try a different scent or just not order at all. I wouldn't purchase again. ... show more

This candle comes packaged in a pretty, well padded box. Perfect for gift giving. The scent is beautiful. I love Peony flowers and the scent is spot on. The only negative, it doesn't burn evenly. I have a hard time finding a heavy scented coconut candle. With this one, I could smell it before I even got it out of the box. As soon as the plastic wrap started to be taken off, the scent hit me. This is by far my best purchase for candles. I love it

Firstly, this candle is so darn cute! Problem is though, that it smells great when you pick it up and smell it directly. Once you start burning the candle there is zero scent somehow. I live in a 1bd micro apartment totaling 300sqft. I tried burning it in the bedroom... nothing. Tried burning the candle in the itty bitty bathroom... no smell, tried even burning it in the livingroom/kitchen space and nothing. There wasn't even a faint whiff of gentle floral. I tried walking out of the apartment and sniffing coffee beans to clear my senses and see if I had just gone nose blind, nope that's not it. I asked my partner when they got home if they smelt anything, after I had burnt it all day in am attempt to smell it, and they couldn't smell it. Asked a neighbor to pop their nose in even, and they also said they didn't get a whiff of anything. Deeply saddened because I looked so hard specifically for a peony candle, and here we are with no smell unless you directly whiff it like you do in a store testing the scent. ... show more
