I couldn’t be happier with this Storage Plug Lock-in Insert, Split Fix for my SBA3 SB Tactical Braces. I was hesitant at first due to the lack of a retention ring around the outside of the insert. But, that was for nothing. My SB braces had been in use and in storage for a while now and were really out of shape. This insert fit snugly and stayed in place. It brought the arm portion back into its designed shape. The brace now feels structurally sound with the arm strap tightened. This plug is an excellent piece of equipment that I have zero worries or doubts about it not keeping the shape of the brace perfect. I truly believe you will not find a better storage plug regardless the price. I have three on various caliber AR 15’s and another on a .308 Savage 110 PCS and I couldn’t be happier. The item fits perfectly to a SBA3 brace. It is a 3D printed item but the printing is quite fine (.1mm I guess) as the lines are barely visible on the sides. You can realize it is a 3D printed item only from the top and bottom. It fits very well to the brace and allows it to be stored without worry of getting deformed.
