this slider is superior to my last exaktor model, which i had used extensively for 2 years (pleased do not buy exaktor). it has excellent rigidity, accuracy, consistency, and capacity. i am using the traditional configuration for the fence and that allows me to crosscut up to 49”. i am pleased with the overall fit, finish, and action on the slider. there is also a clever system for returning to the 90 degree position when the fence has been removed. installation took some time, and it does require cutting a portion of the fence guide bar/support, but the instructions are thorough and the hardware is clearly labeled. i also used sawstops first slider for a number of years, and found it generally lacking. this industrial slider is vastly superior. ... show more

    • Large and very useful if you want to cut large sheets
There isn't anywhere else to write a review or share information. 1) If you have a PCS with an extended LEFT wing, then you DO NOT need to cut your saw in anyway to attach this sliding table. The instructions will say you do; but if you look closely you can just cut the sliding table saw in 5 minutes with a hack saw; which is much preferred to cutting your PCS. 2) Setup was not easy for me; but after I got it done and calibrated; I feel I am getting quality cuts that let me do the jobs I wanted. I feel ZERO need to setup my chop saw with a nice fence / ruler as why use the chop saw? 3) Using the EURO style (Push the fence not the wood) you can do really long 70inch (I think) cuts. I struggle with this style. If you only need to make 4 foot cuts with the slider then you can set it up to "push" the wood with the fence. Which as I thought about it might have made sense given over 4 foot is likely a RIP...but it is AWESOME to put a FULL panel on there and just cut it up. 4) If you are struggling to get the slighting table part square, make sure the legs are pulled in the right direction. I was going crazy, until I used my head and moved the legs. This might make zero sense but if you end up wondering why you cannot get it square I hope this helps. Of course all you experts will just do it right the first time. FYI, if you have a buddy you can totally move the saw with this attached with the industrial mobile base. Of course it will be all messed up calibration wise; but you COULD move it if needed. ... show more

    • So far not very happy.
After unpacking the box, I quickly realized that it did not come with any instructions. I then had to find the instructions online, and go through 100+ pages of paper and toner to print them off. After browsing through the instructions, I see that there's a possibility that I'll need to saw a bit of my fence bar off. I'll update this review after I've used it for a bit (if I think of it). ... show more
