Bought these for my son to hand out as Valentines. I’m pleasantly surprised! They’re all individually wrapped, which while not great for the environment, does make for easy gifting. There were a few extra so he got to choose a couple for himself. They are so satisfying to squish! Very pleasant texture, and simply adorable. Not a single duplicate in the batch. I think his classmates will be thrilled to get one. I did not notice the oily residue that others have mentioned. It is the middle of winter here tho. I wonder if they would stand up to shipping in higher temps.

These have always been my favorite kind of toy. After reading some of the negative reviews, here are some things to know before buying this toy and how to care for it: 1. These are NOT foam squishies, aka slow-rise squishy, these are "mochi squishies" (because they look and feel like rice mochi). They are actually made of a super-soft material called elastomer (basically an elastic plastic). I personally like the way they "squish" way better than foam squishies. They are jiggly and bouncy like a gel 2. Elastomer is *very* delicate and stretching it too much will cause little tears, it can also "pill" like fabric if there is too much friction. It's better to mush and poke them with fingers, not stretch them (even though that is soooooo much fun) or rub around. They will last much longer if they are just poked and prodded, it's like poking slime in terms of texture 3. They are velvety because they have a thin dusting of powder (also just like real mochi). If this powder is washed off, they will get sticky but it can be fixed by dusting with talcum powder or corn starch. If you put them in water, the powder will come off and your "mochi" will get sticky, but water is the right way to clean them if they become dirty. Just be sure to dust them with powder after the bath 4. It's better to play with them on a hard, clean surfaces, like a desk or table. Playing with them on a rug, floor, or bed makes it more likely they'll get "pills" and they'll eat up dirt like an eraser 5. Kids can destroy these in a matter of hours unless they know what kind of play will damage them (mainly, rubbing around in grubby hands and stretching out as far as possible)... I speak directly from childhood experience, lol 6. Do not store them or leave them touching hard plastic for a long period of time, the two plastics will eventually try to bond and it makes a weird sticky dent in the hard plastic (which is interesting science, but the damage is permanent) 7. They will get weird and sticky/tacky if exposed to heat, don't store in them in direct sunlight or leave in a hot car 8. They last for a long time if treated gently! Of course, you can opt to just sacrifice them for the sake of stretching and squeezing to your heart's content, but know they'll not look great or last as long I can't believe I just wrote a guide on these silly things. College stress is clearly getting to me. I hope this can help someone enjoy these neat little toys a bit more now. Well, time to poke some squishies and write this outline...! @_@

I thought they would be squishier, but I've never touched a mochi before to know the actual consistency. I've only ever seen the videos of people sticking these to their desks and rubbing the bellies, and they looked SUPER pliable and squishy with little force. These take a bit more force than expected, but still satisfying, soft, and squishy! You can see in my video they are not very sticky (it slid around a bit), and I tried to demonstrate the force needed to get that classic belly rub video. Again, not sure if they are supposed to be this "firm". You can also see the stretch, which is nice that it won't lose its head easily. The designs are cute. There were 4 cats with different colorings, some...bears? with different colors, and then some "one offs" like a polar bear, happy star, cloud, snail, and what I'm assuming is an axolotl? Super cute! However, the paint or whatever gives them a face does wear off. I'm also anticipating these will get filthy. I saw some tips online on how to clean them, so I will try that when they get dirty, and repot back if anything goes right. They do also have a smell. Not like chemicals, I wouldn't say, but more like...some weird material I've not smelled before. Only really noticeable upon opening, and if I bring it to my face. My hands are, so far, not left with the smell. The price was fair for the amount received, imo, without having to wait 4 months to receive God only knows what direct from China, and be disappointed. I like these, and I'm sure I will give some as little gifts here and there.

I was surprised at how cute these were! They were classroom gifts and the kids loved them. Much cuter in person and higher quality than expected. They are individually wrapped which was really nice. A little on the small size but still ok. Not duplicated in the classroom so unique. Easy to play with and give to others. I liked the quantity, just right. If you're looking for something like this I think you will like them.

I didn’t expect them to be 100% based on the price. But there’s some real inconsistency. Half are white, the face details are messed up on about 1/3 of them, the only blue bear is missing a big slice out of its head. They were stuffed in a very small box for how many there are, and the individual packages they were in created permanent creases. Got these for a little prize box in my classroom. At least there are a few cute ones. And, I think the kids will like the squishy texture

We used these in party favor bags for my daughter's birthday and I was very happy with them! They were great for sensory needs of kids, soft yet durable, and a good value for the money considering the amount of products you get. I would purchase again.

THESE ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. They feel like velvet jello. You get a LOT in this little box. They're all about the size of fingers/thumbs, faces can sometimes be painted unaligned from their mold, but who really cares? These things feel like squish heaven in your fingers and palms. These are going to be the only squishies I ever buy ever again for the rest of my life. FAIR WARNING! HEED MY WORDS! These guys will "melt" for lack of better words when left in your car in warmer weather circumstances. I had one on my dashboard (the white laying bunny to be precise) and he was my car buddy. I left him in my car over summer and by the end of it he was flat as a pancake and his ears had been melted into his body with no hope of removing them from his back without ripping them. He melted, he didn't lose his shape or bust out of his mold melt, but he became a pancake instead of an upright-eared, full headed rabbit. They WILL melt, and they WILL leave a weird oily residue that you can NEVER REMOVE (I've used everything, guys. EVERYTHING). Be wise. Save your buddies from torture. Remove them from your dashboard should you choose to decorate your's with these wonderful little squishables. They will melt and you will be SO sad.
