I was so excited to grow this plant. My dad and I have been taking care of it from the beginning and watering it with love. However, the root completely died within a couple of days. When I tried to dig it out from the dirt to see what could be wrong, I noticed it was dissolving into the dirt. This was very unusual as it’s never happened with any of my other plants. Definitely would have asked for my money back as it was not cheap but was not able to. I recommend maybe a more local option as they give more guarantees. ... show more

6 weeks later and I have my first peony bloom (in south Florida!) I am so impressed with this purchase! I just tried to keep it as cool as possible, moist soil, partial sun, and used a bit of transplanting solution in water after planting. Barely had any growth and then came back from a 2 week trip to find a large stem and small bud!! I was so impressed!! Other than that very little effort beside waiting with baited breath that this bud would actually open-which it did! Hope it stays healthy, gets strong, and delivers more blooms! ... show more

I received the tubers last fall. Planted them according to instructions. It's now the following spring. The tubers should be sending up shoots by now, but nothing is coming up. It's too late to receive a refund through Amazon. I will edit this review if they eventually come up, but I don't plan to order seeds or bulbs from Amazon again. ... show more
