  • Powerful, stays cool, quiet, and beautiful.
My particular card boosted to about 2,700mhz after an automatic undervolt via Adrenaline. It takes up about 2 3/4 slots. I underestimated that slot occupation and had to adjust the fan schematic I planned for my mATX sff build accordingly. I believe the max wattage I've seen it draw during stress testing is somewhere around 270w. There's been a lot made of the static red LED badge, which only has an on/off switch, with no aRGB, RGB , or even brightness control. This is going to be an extremely subjective aesthetic preference, but I knew what it would be before purchasing, and it fit into my plans. As you can see, my build is entirely comprised of white components with a solid matte black mobo. I figured the red pop from the GPU LED badge would be a nice bit of flair in a monochromatic aesthetic, and for my personal expectations, I was right. I'd say the brightness of it is what you might expect the brightness of an average RGB fan to be when set at 50%. I can't speak to the functionality of the included support bracket, as there wasn't enough room for it, but it felt of high quality and looked pleasing, with an attractive matte finish. My build is about as small as you can get without going ITX, and only contains 3 fans: 2 x 120mm radiator exhaust fans in the top position, and 1 x 120mm rear exhaust fan. The spaces for bottom intake fans are unusable, due to the GPU thickness. With this fan array, the 7800 xt hasn't seen temps higher than the mid 60's Celsius under stress testing. All in all, I'm very happy with my choice to go full-on AMD and get a team red GPU to match my CPU this time around. The Adrenaline software suite is robust to the point of slightly overwhelming with all of the options available, but is still attractive and easy to navigate. Coming from GeForce Experience, it felt like going from being the passenger to being the driver. ... show more

  • This card kills 1440p gaming
The media could not be loaded. The RX7800XT is a beast of a card. It delivers exceptional gaming performance at 1440p and beyond. The white color scheme adds a unique and stylish touch to any white PC build. Also, this particular Sapphire model of the RX7800XT boasts a sleek design, with a triple-fan cooling system that keeps the card running cool and silent, even under heavy workloads. The card remains below 70 degrees at 99% usage. The performance jump is quite noticeable when compared to my RX5700XT which was already showing its age in games like Hogwarts Legacy, Cyberpunk, and Baldurs Gate 3, especially at 1440p. Another great thing about this card is that it hasn't caused any driver issues so far. I'm not going to lie, this was a major issue with my RX5700XT, it was super unstable when I bought it at launch, and even today it would crash depending on the current software build. Nonetheless, I still took the risk because the best offering in this price point is the 4070, and giving up my Lian Li RGB connectors wasn't really a choice. Fortunately, it turned out great as I haven't had any issues with this card. In summary, the Radeon RX 7800XT from Sapphire is a top-of-the-line graphics card that delivers exceptional performance, style, and reliability. Its advanced cooling technology, impressive gaming capabilities, and stable drivers make it an excellent choice for anyone looking for the best of the best at this price point. ... show more

  • Great GPU
I have tested a for a couple of hours, this is for my next ITX build, waiting for the motherboard to be on stock. Temperature is relative good, I tested on a Thermaltake Tower 100, runs quiet and looks great on the case. Could manage to undervolt it to consume 200 watts or less. Only negative for this card is the Board Power 270 watts on this card, compare to Nvidia, idle temps are kind of high. Just for those who care, Amazon sent me the code for Starfield, but the code was already EXPIRED, I have received the card on November 3, the e-mail containing the code was received on November 2, the code expired on October 28, below part of the message. ====== !!! VERY IMPORTANT !!! The AMD Rewards Coupon Code must be redeemed by 2023-10-28 11:59:59 PM (EST)* to obtain Application downloads after which the AMD Coupon Code is void. * Date Format is YYYY-MM-DD ===== I did no care because I would not open an account just for a code. I don’t know if you try it will work but watch your expire date if you plan to reclaim it. Will report back if I find a problem with the GPU. Update, Parts already arrived and finished the build. The GPU looks stunning on the Thermaltake Tower 100 and runs quiet and cool. I managed to undervolt it and run it ON HYPR-RX Eco with 120 fps limit, this keeps the GPU with acceptable performance and keep it cool and power efficient, the GPU most of the time stays at 120 fps with good 1% low. You can push it and overclock it, but I rather have it power efficient and cool. I’ve got another system with X570, 3770x and RX 6700 XT, the increase performance of the RX 7800 XT is quite noticeable. Great GPU, also it is very easy to dissemble for maintenance. ... show more

  • Cannot believe the quality & performance.
Went from Power Color RX 560, to XFX RX 580, to XFX RX 6700XT, to Sapphire PURE RX 7800XT. The 7800xt PURE entirely rules. It comes with everything it states in the description, even the support brace. This sucker is HUGE and needs every bit of the support brace if installed horizontally. If installed vertically with PCB lying flat, it would be fine without it. The only thing I have pushed on it, is AMD auto-undervolt. It runs very cool undervolted. The Sapphire fan design really makes a massive difference, paired with its awesome heatsink.\ I have this backed by 32GB DDR4, on a Ryzen 7 5800x processor. Bottom line: at 2k resolution, everything ultra or maxed out, I get about 55 FPS with ray tracing in Cyberpunk 2077 under hard load. In COD Warzone, I get about 255 FPS. Counterstrike 2, I get about 400 FPS. This card is beefy, and worth every penny if you intend on keeping it for a long time. ... show more
