Wishing not everything was polyester

I read all the reviews so I decide to purchase one. I ordered a size large when I would normally get an XL. From the reviews it says it comes big, the large did fit well. I am happy with the cut, color and the jacket is lined which is really nice. I would have preferred a different material. I am really tired of polyester. I love it so much, but don’t be prepared to wear it as soon as it arrives unless you have an iron or steamer handy because it comes very wrinkled inside the vacuum packed bag. But I do love it, very chic, very much in style in the high-end stores, so I’m delighted to have it! It runs true to size with plenty of space left over which is good so you can wear a turtleneck heavier sweater under it, and jacket would fit beautifully. It will be fine with a blouse. Attractive, Fits Well, Good Quality

This little trench coat is adorable. It's extremely attractive and the fit on me is great. I'm 5'2" and it falls at my mid to lower hip. The fabric is light weight, soft and quite nice. I am a little busty but the medium has ample room for me to button the trench perfectly without any gaps at the buttons. The quality seems good and it appears to be made very well. It is also nicely lined. I bought the army green - the color is ever so slightly different from the picture but very close to it and still very attractive. Color is sometimes hard to judge from a picture on the computer. It does need to be steamed or ironed when taken out of the packaging. This trench isn't for very cold, windy or rainy weather but it will be perfect for cooler fall or spring days...or for added warmth in an air-conditioned restaurant or store. Clothing on Amazon can be a little 'iffy' but this is good quality at a pretty good price. Happy with my purchase and I would recommend it.... ... show more

Absolutely wonderful jacket!!!

I had put this jacket in and out of my cart for a few weeks, hesitant to pull the trigger on purchasing it. I looked into several other options, paying especially close attention to all reviews. I eventually came back to this one and made my purchase. I'm 5'4 and 173lbs and generally wear a Med or Lge. I ordered size Medium, as the general consensus was that these jackets run big. It arrived yesterday and I immediately opened it. It wasn't too wrinkled from the packaging and I was struck by how soft the material was. It seemed like nice quality and it had zero smell of any kind. It's nicely lined and when I tried it on, it fit beautifully!! The sleeves weren't too long, but even if they were, the straps & buckles can be adjusted smaller to help hold them up into place if needed. It looked great buttoned all the way or left open, and even with having a shorter torso, the cropped length was absolutely perfect as well. Lastly, the jacket has a decent weight to it, I wouldn't call it lightweight, but it's not heavy either, it feels like it will keep me warm enough. I'm very pleased with my purchase and would recommend this jacket, don't hesitate like I did. ☺️ ... show more

Wrinkles like crazy!

I really like the fit and style of this jacket. I thought all the deep wrinkles were because it arrived in a bag and needed to be washed and dried. However, after taking it out of the washer the deep set wrinkles were still there. I debated whether to dry on low or hang to dry. I decided to try both. I dried it for a while on low, removed it, and then hung to dry for a while. I noticed the wrinkles didn't change. While it was still damp, I steamed out the wrinkles. This is the biggest downside of this jacket. If it wrinkles as easily as I think it does, it's going to dry me crazy! The only way someone would know this is AFTER you have removed the tags, washed, dried, and steamed it. So no returning. If you want fabric that does not wrinkle, I would not suggest this jacket. GREAT jacket - be aware there are charges if you have to exchange

Love this jacket and ultimately bought in two colors. Initially had to return for a smaller size because it runs large, so I'd recommend sizing down. I'm between size 10 and 12, 40D bust and medium fits perfectly. When I returned size large for the medium, I was charged $8.60 as a "return fee" although no such fee is listed anywhere. It hits just below the belt line, the sleeves are just the right length and you can cinch the straps if you need to. The lapels lie flat with ironing. It does have an odd third flap on the right front but it's okay. It's warm enough for chilly a/c in spring/summer and I'll use it for outdoor fall days in the Midwest. Highly recommend; just be aware of the return fee. ... show more
