Good choice
solid mount - works as advertised. I'm not the best at putting together DIY units and this was a little tricky - but I got it done without much trouble. Highly recommend.

Easy to install, eliminates wires from view
Like other Sanus products I have purchased, this is a simple, well made product that is easy to install. I used the universal Sanus Soundbar Mount with the Sanus slim wall mount. They are not perfectly compatible, but Sanus provides so many extra washer, bolts, spacers, etc. that you can make just about anything work. This mount allows you to mount your sound bar flush with the bottom of your TV allowing you to eliminate any wires from view. Sanus does it again.

Needs adapters but works in the end
This product has the right idea. It adds onto the basic sanus product well. But the options for mounting the sound bar were inadequate. I had to add some hardware for a solid connection to my sound bar which is a Sony HT 5000, not a rare product. I did get it to work. Also, the ability to raise/lower is nice, but there is not a locking screw to hold it solidly at the preferred height. I added some shaft collars to lock it in at the preferred height and now I have a solid solution I am happy with. But if you don’t have the mechanical skills to do some problem solving, then pay close attention to to what is and is not provided and be sure it will work for you out of the box.

Perfect sound bar mount!
This thing works great! Mounted a Sonos arc under a TV with it and it looked great! Just be careful, it almost was too short to reach under the 85” tv.

The one that worked!
The only one that worked for my situation out of the three I tried. I didn't want to see any wires between soundbar and tv. I also did not want to see brackets extending upward from under the soundbar to the front of it that two other brands had. My soundbar has rear keyholes for wall mounting. This item included option to use them Thus you can't see any wire or any mounting hardware. And the mounts are easily adjustable to rise or lower soundbar or to adjust how far forward or back you want it to be relative to the front of your tv. It was worth the $25 higher price.

Awful Sanus Customer Service!!!
I would give this a zero and Sanus as well. 2 TV mounts bought what I was told the best. SANUS on the phone recommends this for my new soundbar and I give them them Samsung TV and soundbar specs. Won't work it is not long enough for the size TV and soundbar I have. I called and asked how to modify and was told sorry nothing they can do. Even though it was their customer service who told me what to buy. Do not waste your money they're awful and overpriced with no customer service. So now I have to buy a new soundbar mount on top of this which will be in my garbage where it belongs.

Locking mechanism cannot support 17 lb Samsung soundbar
Good design and fairly simple installation (~1 hr). After installation, the Samsung Q990c sound bar (17 lb) slowly sank to the ground under its own weight. Spent another hour fiddling with the locking mechanism to try to keep it in place. In the end, I fabricated my own locking mechanism from scrap wood and U bolts to hold the rods in place vertically. Everything is working now but wouldn't buy this product again. Manufacturer could improve product by fabricating a metal locking piece with a set screw to slide over the rod and lock everything in place for sound bars closer to 20 lbs. Total time spent was ~3 hours installing and fabricating supports.
