Great product for my installation. Because of the way this unit mounts on the back of the TV, you may need to buy additional longer mounting screws for the TV. Do a trial assembly first and assemble everything before you mount the TV on the wall.

This is really complex to install. The instructions do try their best but in the end you're pretty much winging it. Did I get it installed? Yes. Does it look nice and do as advertised? Yes. Did it take me 2 hours to get the thing installed? Yes. Make sure you want to do this before you buy it.

    • Instructions could be better - had to modify to work for keyhole soundbar
I bought this model specifically because I needed it to work with my existing Sanus BLF328 wall mount. I have an older Denon sound bar with keyhole mount. I had to use one of the large washers to keep the keyhole screw in place and also needed to use 2 of the small spacers as the internal depth of the keyhole turn knob wasn't deep enough to hold the screw in place. The words on the mount need to face you and not face the tv. It also covered up my tv power cord so I used a felt washer (not included) as a spacer to make both sides even. The mount worked perfect with the tv mount besides covering up the tv power cord and some of my component outs which luckily I don't use. My LG tv is about 9 years old so maybe this isn't an issue for newer tvs. Other than the modifications I needed to make using parts that came with the mount, this is ok. ... show more

Only problem is with the length not the weight. Max length was 35.5 inches(mounting holes), Sony A5000 soundbar was 37" so I added 2 pieces one on each side to extend the max length...not to hard...

This was not the easiest to install, but we love it and it is so great for reducing the clutter around the TV. We had ours initially under the TV on the table, but this allows us to use the table and I feel the sound is improved with it higher.

This product has the right idea. It adds onto the basic sanus product well. But the options for mounting the sound bar were inadequate. I had to add some hardware for a solid connection to my sound bar which is a Sony HT 5000, not a rare product. I did get it to work. Also, the ability to raise/lower is nice, but there is not a locking screw to hold it solidly at the preferred height. I added some shaft collars to lock it in at the preferred height and now I have a solid solution I am happy with. But if you don’t have the mechanical skills to do some problem solving, then pay close attention to to what is and is not provided and be sure it will work for you out of the box. ... show more
