I love the look of this table and chairs. It matches my kitchen perfectly. However the table top is not sealed. It stains from any food that touches it even if it’s wiped away. And the wood is already splintering from getting cleaner on it. It’s going to need to be sanded and sealed. For a total of 375 I’d expected it to of been sealed.

This butterfly dining set is a really smart solution for small spaces. We’re using it for an Airbnb that doesn’t have a designated dining area, and the ability to open it up when needed and store everything compactly was exactly what I was looking for. I love that all four chairs store neatly inside the table and stay out of the way when not in use. That said, assembly was definitely more complicated than the description suggests. Once you figure it out, it comes together and looks good, but there are a few tricky parts that require patience. This isn’t a quick, effortless setup. The wood is unfinished, which wasn’t ideal for me since I don’t really have the time to stain or seal it. However, for someone who wants to customize the color to match their space, that could actually be a plus. My main concern is durability. The bottom panel where the chairs sit isn’t very thick, so I’m a little worried about how it will hold up long term with the weight of the chairs. I’m also noticing some wobble, which seems to come from the middle area connecting to the outer legs. It does come with plastic feet, but they don’t seem to make much difference. I’m hoping a small rubber pad will help level it once it’s in place. Overall, the design itself is good and very functional for small spaces. I just think buyers should know it may take some adjusting and patience to get it feeling stable. Time will tell how well it holds up, but for a compact, space-saving dining solution, it does serve its purpose

I was VERY impressed with the construction. It is a little tricky to assemble if you're not use to putting IKEA furniture together but the quality it amazing for the price. The hinges were missing one side for the small door on the end but I didnt care to put it on anyway. I always used a glue to assemble this IKEA style but they included a small pouch of glue! I never write reviews but I was so impressed with it. The chairs already were assembled.
