I bought this for my elderly mother who had a couple of falls this year and is starting to have trouble walking. She recently came home from a rehab stay as a result of one of those falls and liked that her bed had rails. We decided on this unit because it can be raised or lowered easily. I put it together easily and installed it on the bed. Everything installed easily, but just having the mattress weight to secure it makes it less than rock solid, even with the strap tight around the bed frame. It will still serve the purpose, but a sturdier mount would be an improvement. The upper part can be accidentally removed from the lower part during raising operation. The package arrived in about 4 days and all parts were there. It is pretty well made. 4 stars

I have severe spinal stenosis and bought this rail because I have a hard time rolling over and getting out of bed due to pain. It was super easy to put together. Granted, I have used it only one night but made a huge difference. We will see if it withstands everday use. I have an upcoming spinal surgery and hope this will continue to give relief. Side note, it also holds my body pillow from falling off the bed and that I have to use while sleeping on my side.

This bed rail is sturdy and well thought out. It would be better, however, if the strap actually fit a king size bed.

The media could not be loaded. This bed rail feels high quality from the moment you unbox it. The tubing is thick and strong, and it supports my husband’s weight with no problem. Assembly took less than ten minutes — no tools needed. The base grips the mattress firmly so it doesn’t slide around, and the handle is wide enough to grab easily even in the dark. Excellent product for anyone who needs a little extra support at night.
