I purchased this prior to back surgery as I was advised by a friend I’d need it. Here is my problem with this: though it will fold down, theoretically to ease getting in/out of bed, this would not work on my bed (adjustable base). While it could be positioned no not interfere with changing bed position, but, though I feel this concept is good, the bed rail would need to be used on an extremely high bed in order to lie flat when lowered. I literally ended up sliding to the floor! Good product of but I’d need much longer legs or a much higher bed (mine is pretty high already) to use by oneself. ... show more
