The slim profile is the headline of this unit. I've had less expensive soundbars from Samsung that produce more sound, maybe even better sound. Not that this soundbar doesn't get loud - it does. And with the subwoofer, the effect is a full range that fills the room. It's plenty loud, just not as full as a larger unit. It has a range of connectivity, including Bluetooth, and a mini-HDMI, the cable for which is included. Connection was easy, and the cable was long enough to run behind the unit, up through the wall, and back into the TV unseen. The remote is slim but substantial. However, there are few few visual clues on the soundbar to indicate what you are doing. Instead, there is a companion app that lets you see, set, and configure the soundbar. You COULD set it up without the soundbar. But it is much easier to set up and then change mode, setting, and fine tuning through the app. Once set, and if you don't intent do make changes, then the app isn't needed for ongoing operations. In all, I'm happy with the purchase. A slim profile was our guiding principle for this setup. The sound is good to very good - just not as "full" as a larger unit can produce. ... show more

The sound is great and getting it up and running was simple. But the interface for changing the various sound modes is poor. The scrolling led display is very difficult to navigate.
