  • Works better than expected
This machine will need some fine tuning, some sharp edges knocked down, components need polishing and you will need to build a stand. If you have time to tinker to get this set up then it's a diamond in the rough, if you want something that works perfect right out of the box, then you will be disappointed. The stand is a joke, I threw mine away and built a tabletop stand out of some scrap wood. Watch some youtube videos and join the Facebook group for info. Once it's set up right it has been wonderful ... show more

  • Don't waste your time or money
This thing looked great, simple, heavy duty, low maintenance, but this machine has only accomplished increasing headaches than anything else. The amount of grease and oil on the machine it if the box is enough to make Brendan Frasier in George of the jungle look dry. None of the simple systems function properly out of the box and the "instruction" manual may as well be hieroglyphs. I've spent more time trying to figure out how to use this piece of junk than it is worth. ... show more

  • You bette me have YouTube if you want it to work!!!
Was a lot of work to figure out how to get it to work!!! You better be good at assembly and adjustments or you might want to think about an easier to assemble and use product!!!

  • It's worth the money!
I was hesitant to purchase this product because of the negative reviews. I needed a heavy duty Sewing machine for the type of work that I do. The package arrived in a couple days. There was no rust on the unit and the body of the unit had a good and complete paint job with no blemishes. It was oily which was not a problem. There are several moving parts that need oil especially the bearings. This is an Manual cam driven machine. The only drawback is the three legged stand. Most likely I will replace the stand with a sturdier and heavier handmade unit. I have no regrets purchasing this product. It will serve me well for years to come. Rick ... show more

  • Finally got a good one
I ordered this same machine from 2 other sellers and had to send both back because they were either b-stock or someone else’s return. It seems that all of these come with a partially sewn piece of leather stuck under the foot and thread already threaded through the machine. The other ones both showed up partially painted with a bunch of pitted steel but this one is full painted, solid and with more accessories than the other ones. If you’re a tinkerer, getting this thing going isn’t too hard, I had it stitching stuff in like 5 min. The biggest benefit of this machine for me is that it can stitch through foam sheets whereas my regular sewing machine cannot. ... show more

  • Great quality for the price
It came out of the box ready to use with just a little bit of assembly which wasn’t even bad. I didn’t even need the instructions. I sewed on a side rocker and a patch on my leather motorcycle vest and this thing had zero issues. I’ve been wanting to buy this for years and glad I finally did. Well worth it. ... show more

  • Don't waste your money!
I was really hoping as plain and "no frills" as this thing was, that I would at least be able to use it. It came with a few instructions on how to assemble ~ after getting it assembled, it seemed sturdy enough. The machine was COVERED in dark grease and what looked like dirt (assuming this was from oiling the product) The grease had seeped into the Styrofoam that the machine came in. The 3 legs that it comes with are sturdy enough to hold the machine up, but if you bump it or move the turning wheel to hard it tips over. I had to go on YouTube to figure out how to thread the machine. The bobbin loader was bent and ruined so I had to load the bobbin by hand. After 3 hours of trouble shooting and someone else trying to figure it out, we can't get the top thread to stop breaking. I would think for the $100 I paid, I could've at least sewn one thing, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen. ... show more
