Make sure to read the small print. The directions state it takes a few 5-10 minutes to cure under UV lights. Probably one of the longer UV resins cure times. After I have bought a better lamp, the kind with a mirror on the bottom, they seem to do well with 60-90 seconds. I then expose to daytime sun for about an hour and it’s hard as rock. It does smell but I feel it’s a low tamer smell than some majority out there. Would not recommend adding too much chunky glitter, it will get hard to cure unless you have a good lamp. Medium thickness of liquid makes it easy to squeeze out and mix things. What I found to my liking is that it shrinks much less than some more expensive brands like Padico resin. Like any other resin they are not immune to 24/7 sunlight exposure over months (like what the heck people don’t do that…) I had to google the picture of this since it did not have a clear brand name and wanted to get a bit more.

I have a love hate relationship with this product. Does it work? Yes. Is it easy to use? Yes. But, when the resin cures- it cures a little tacky. Now for what I’m using this for, it works and it works well. I use this for creating liquid filled dice, and even then, it’s a very limited use ( I use it to close up a hole in a bauble that is filled with water.) The light is good for what it is. If you press the button once, it keeps on for about 30 seconds. If you press the button twice, I believe it stays on for about a minute. It’s not practical but it’s functional. My take away is that for what I need it to do, it works. I don’t know how well others could use it for their projects, especially with the light timing out fairly quickly.

I love this resin! It is so easy to work with and yields great results! The only complaint I have is that it is smelly (smells like chemicals) so wear a mask if you’re sensitive to that sort of thing. Also, when curing, the smell increases briefly since there is a chemical reaction occurring so keep that in mind. There’s no smell after it cures, however, and it is super shiny! Make sure you let the bubbles settle/rise to get rid of them before curing the resin.

The odor was the first thing I noticed about this resin. I wasn't overly upset about that, I don't mind having to keep proper ventilation for it. I am using very small amounts of resin, less than a full drop. When I turn on the light (which works amazingly while it is on) it only stays on for about 30 seconds. Then it will not come back on until I unplug it and plug it back in. After turning the light on and off, and on and off again a few times and finally get my small amount to cure as much as it will then it was still tacky. I attempted to cure it again but was unsuccessful at getting a smooth finish with no tackiness. I am not sure if I got a bad batch with a faulty light but I am unhappy with this product.

After I purchased this UV glue I read the reviews posted by people that have purchased this item and the concerns expressed concerning hardening of the product and the concerns about the glue drying tacky. I found neither of those concerns to be valid. First, I used the UV resin on my vehicle headlight retaining tabs. I applied the resin onto the broken tabs and used the supplied UV light to slightly harden the resin. After that I moved my vehicle outdoors and into the sunlight where I applied more resin and let the sun cure until hardened. After a few minutes the resin had completely hardened and was not tacky at all. I checked how sturdy the resin was before remounting the headlight in my vehicle and all is well. From my perspective, this is an excellent product and well worth the price.

Wish I had read the other reviews before just going off the rating. The UV light sucks. As many have said, it shuts off after 60 seconds, and the resin needs 5-10 minutes cure time. And you have to leave it plugged in. Make sure you have extra USB charging bricks around, because it only comes with the charging cable. I tried making one super small thing for my first time using resin, and having to constantly turn the light on for almost an hour, and my piece still wasn't cured. I just put it outside hoping that will cure it.

As others have mentioned, the included UV light turns itself off after about one minute. Mine lasted a total of three minutes before burning out, literally. I noticed a strong smell of burnt plastic, and noticed a spot on the light where the plastic was melting. Maybe I was just unlucky, but if I had left it plugged in to the USB brick, I believe it would have caught fire. The resin itself is ok. It is cured clear, but as others have mentioned it tends to be tacky. The included directions say to cure up to 5 minutes, but it takes longer, even under my strong lamp I use to cure my resin 3d prints.
