This tablet is completely useless. It came with enterprise management software (Sennco DPC and BricTech) that prevents me from setting it up or using it at all. Factory reset doesn’t remove it, and I can’t even sign in with my own Google account. Clearly a demo or corporate-locked device that should never have been resold. Amazon needs to crack down on sellers pushing locked junk like this. Returning immediately. Total waste of time. ... show more

This tablet is the best tablet I've ever had, not that I had many but the best. It's lightweight, processors is fast, bright colors. Right price although I wish it was cheaper but definitely a overall good fast tablet. I have it mounted in my car as a separate screen which is against the laws so don't get caught ... show more

    • Nice tablet and deal, BUT ...
As "renewed" it almost looks new! (slight blemish on the back), but overall would show as new! (shiny screen and no dents) It has all the features and is unlocked BUT ... it still has the Verizon programming in/on it! Though I'm using it with a T-Mobile data card/sim. It does work but, still reboots with the Verizon logo and it's software! And the Verizon software is inter-twined in the battery functions and some other things. Will research to see if I can totally remove the Verizon stuff or not. :( (And the Verizon software automatically loaded a lot of bs games and small items when it started up!) But, the tablet does seem fully functional and time will tell if there's any major issues or drawbacks. Have just used it inside with Wi-fi to update the OS and features. Added the mobile data sim card plan and know that it works. Will add/port a phone number on it and will be trying it "in the field" soon enough to see if it maintains a connection etc. Oh, yes it seems fast enough on functions and easy to use. But, I'm not a regular tablet user so expect it to function smoothly. :) ... show more

    • The tablet software is locked by verizon
The tablet arrived perfectly in Venezuela. It works well the hardware, the screen is new the pencil I bought it apart works perfect. The problem: it does not allow calls to other operators. If you can use the internet from other operators other than Verizon. I think the most honest thing to do is to warn the customer that the tablet has this problem. At the very least they should indicate who I unlock it with or how to unlock it. The product is not bad, the quality of the hardware is excellent it came new. The problem is the software. I tried to contact Samsung and Verizon to resolve this problem. I have to go to a store to unlock it. ... show more

I am satisfied with the tablet but the 5 stars is for the Amazon Support. They were very responsive and supportive with the issues. The tablet was great. I love it. It is a Verizon branded tablet and complains each time I start it because the sim is not Verizon. It is an annoyance but because the tablet is so amazing I can deal with it. ... show more

WAS NOT SOLD AS ADVERTISED. Advertised as 'Fully Unlocked Android Tablet, 10.9” SM-X518U (Gray) (Renewed)'. Tablet is locked to the Verizon network and is unable to be used with another network even though advertised as able to do so. Reported to amazon and will not used this seller again.
