I took a gamble and purchased a heavily discounted renewed device in 'acceptable' condition, which is the worst condition, below premium, excellent, and good. The device I received was like new in appearance, just not in original packaging. Battery health was 97% which is certainly acceptable from my perspective. One oddity is that the back of the device was permanently labeled 'Not For Sale', indicating the device was intended to be some kind of demo. The 'Not For Sale' label was light gray and not a problem at all from an appearance perspective. $114 for this device (Sept 2023) seems like a heck of a deal, so I'd encourage others to take advantage if they see it pop up! I had the same tablet that I got from Att that I played my favorite game on. It took a crap and I wanted another tablet so I loled on Amazon. Found this one at a decent price and ordered it. It came lovingly wrapped in bubble wrap and looked brand new. I fired it up, battery was at 99% when I got it. Looks really good over all! Works very good too! Couple almost invisible scratches on the screen. Frustrating, the sim tray is missing, so I have to purchase it from some generic sellers separate :(

    • Description was misleading/wrong
The description said this tablet had cellular LTE connectivity and it doesn't. I ordered a second Galaxy Tab S5e from the same company thinking the first one was a mistake and would send it back. Same issue again, the replacement tablet came with no LTE connectivity. The reason I gave 3 stars and am keeping one of the tablets for myself is the description also said the tablet had 64 GB of storage when they actually have 128 GB. I decided to purchase a 5G hub to get the connectivity I need. The reason I am keeping both tabs is my wife latched onto the replacement. Even though they are from 2019, the Tab S5e function flawlessly. My other issue with this seller is the description stated these tablets were "like new" and "good." Well, they are not either having a lot of scratches, dings, and poor battery life. The latter I kinda expected from 2019 tablets but not the scratches and dings on something described as "like new" and "good." I will keep the tablets but advise people to find another seller. ... show more

As far as being refurbished or whatever Amazon calls it, hasn't played a part yet. I purchased a "gaming" tablet shortly after this one, I prefer playing my games on mid settings on the S5e over the gaming tab. Great sound and video quality, battery life is plenty long enough even though mine gets charged on the regular. Full metal horns for this beast! ... show more

I got this I believe last month and use it daily ever since. I must say that it acts like brand new item, battery life, screen, speed, it is amazing device and I love that I purchsed refurbished as it doesn't show any signs of that.
