These are very comfy sandals. If you tighten them, they look awkward, so you have only one option, learn to walk the way they came. I was fortunate to get 1 hole advance to not look make the sandals look completely wonky looking. When you walk for several hours, yes, with the arch support you can walk that long, make sure you have your band aids or toe covers in place in advance. Then your toes stay comfy. Feet do get sweaty like they do in Crocs. Wipe them out well after wearing. The sole of the shoe has worn down quite a bit from wearing 3 days and for the price these are really cheaply made. If these make it through until September I will be shocked. I have owned Crocs that have lasted 10 years. I bought them for durability and quality. These are nothing like the Croc shoe. Please do not expect that when you order them. ... show more

This is my first pair of Crocs, and I wanted to like them because everyone I know who has Crocs likes them. And, for the most part, so do I. The size is just right, and I like that they buckle so I can adjust the comfort level. The style is modern and adaptable to pants, shorts, and summer dresses. They are non-skid, waterproof, and can be easily cleaned in the shower. The only thing is this: the buckle at the front rubs against my foot, and has caused a blister. It seems there's a flaw in the design where the recessed part of the buckle (looking at it from the under size) causes chaffing. I wore them yesterday with black socks (which looks very nice, by the way) and they were very comfortable, no rubbing, and I was reluctant to take them off. I think I'll apply one of those sheepskin pads to the underside of the buckle, to see if that provides relief. ... show more
