I know "refurbished" makes some people antsy, but I have yet to ever buy a refurbished product that didn't work as well as a new one. finally, after stupidly wasting money on several cheap chinese tablets with faked specs, crappy very breakable screens and phony android OS, I bought a real tablet-actually 2 of these and I have not been disappointed. Yes Samsung over-reaches a bit with software that can be disabled and registering a Samsung identity (now you have to have 2 including Google's taking over your tablet), but the features available on this are actually usable, and I feel pretty sure I am not being monitored by Chinese-based servers in wuhan or elsewhere-yes i have detected this with the right software with which I was able to back-trace live servers watching me while online with my chinese tablets and phones, which are now landfill. this screen is bright and clear, apps are fast to respond, no "candy crush" or other obnoxious crapware on this one, and even as an Amazon "refurbished", it looks spotless, like new. what a relief, finally a real tablet! Boy was I stupid for trying to get a "bargain". I got a bunch of bozo tablets instead. Never again. ... show more

Very nice, renewed tablet. I have several tablets and wanted a smaller one. I got the 128gb so I can add more apps and I got sd mirco SD expansion card. Table was like new and worked well. I had one small issue. Called Amazon support and it was fixed quickly. The 90hz refresh rate works well. Battery life is good. The screen video is good for content.     • Basically a Smart Rectangle That Stole My Heart

Let me start by saying I did not need a Samsung Galaxy Tab. I was doing just fine with my duct-taped redecessor with it's cracked screen. But then I met this sleek, seductive piece of tech wizardry, and now I wonder how I ever lived without this multitasking sorcerer in my life. It’s light enough to carry around, but heavy enough that if someone tries to steal it, I could theoretically fling it like a frisbee of justice. The display? It’s so crisp and colorful that I now refuse to watch Netflix on anything else, including my actual TV. Even the lock screen is prettier than my yearbook photo. The battery life is disturbingly good. I charge it once and forget for two days that electricity even exists. I’ve used it to stream, draw, write a half-baked novel, accidentally open 73 Chrome tabs, and still have enough juice left to watch three hours of boxer dog TikToks. I am now watching YouTube tutorials on how to fold fitted sheets while actively not folding them. Peak productivity. My only complaint: it hasn’t yet made me coffee. I believe this is a software update Samsung can address in the near future. Bottom line: this tablet is the closest thing to holding the future in your hands. Get one. Or don’t. But know that every moment without it is a moment you’re watching Boris the Boxer in glorious HD. ... show more
