Yes Samsung over-reaches a bit with software that can be disabled and registering a Samsung identity (now you have to have 2 including Google's taking over your tablet), but the features available on this are actually usable, and I feel pretty sure I am not being monitored by Chinese-based servers in wuhan or elsewhere-yes i have detected this with the right software with which I was able to back-trace live servers watching me while online with my chinese tablets and phones, which are now landfill. this screen is bright and clear, apps are fast to respond, no "candy crush" or other obnoxious crapware on this one, and even as an Amazon "refurbished", it looks spotless, like new. what a relief, finally a real tablet! Good quality tablets. Excellent dual speaker sound, touch functionality, screen size, screen quality etc. These were purchased as gifts, and have been used quite a bit. So far after several months, no noticeable issues and they have been used a ton. Battery seems to last forever, tablet doesn't freeze at all, slightly on the heavier side but not over encumbering. The price to performance on this case impressed me. Not only is it versatile and budget minded, the case is well designed. Having magnetic closure tabs that work with Samsungs auto on and off feature the ease of use increases. The case also flaunts a soft velour surface facing the screen with rugged vinyl-esque outer that seems to have ribbed antislip texture for holding. Not to mention the flip flop folding origami style flip flop flap(haha) cover contorts to different kickstand styles. Now onto the selling point for me, it is magnetic so I can stick it to my fridge to watch/read recipes, listen to music or videos, while I'm in the kitchen. I'm really really impressed by this case and would go out of my way to buy similar products again!!! ... show more

Wrong choice for purchase,the charging port is working ok,I like the color not easy to use, and it's very slow so if ur out of country and thinking about buying a tablet don't buy a renewed product.
