I have owned the A7 Tablet for 2 years but, unfortunately, it was WiFi only. I wanted a tablet that was mobile data friendly, so I started my search for a tablet. Everything I found was a smaller screen which wasn't plausible for me since I had been spoiled by the 10.4 inch screen. I already knew that the picture for watching a Super Bowl was outstanding, it was very user friendly and the only issue was the battery...it really wasn't that long lasting before needing a charge. It was an easy compromise for me so I purchased the international model from Mobiles International. What an excellent company they are, as I received the tablet within 2 days (and I'm not on Prime). I powered up the tablet and saw everything in an unknown language, but then I noticed a pull-down menu and clicked it. There were all the languages to choose from and I was off and running after I got a sim card and service from my provider. I cannot make phone calls but can receive texts on the tablet due to the plan I purchased. This tablet DOES have Bluetooth and works fine. It has all the bells and whistles which make the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 an outstanding electronic device. I'm not a gamer so I cannot comment on speed, but overall for searching the web, watching movies and such, I would highly recommend this tablet. ... show more

When I ordered this tablet I wasn't sure if it works with Consumer Cellular because some answers said it does, others said it does not. Well, I am more than happy. Put the SIM card in and started it up and it connected to Consumer Cellular network right away. Setup was easy, it only asked for the language , so you select English North America and it installed the right software and apps. What is amazing, that you can also make phone calls with it. My Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 5G cannot do that. ... show more

Attn: UPDATE-DO NOT UPGRADE THIS TABLET FROM ANDROID 11 TO ANDROID 12, OR YOU WILL LOSE VOLTE! This is my main computer and internet device, since I've been living on the road. It works fine, even though the browser does hang from time to time. The 3gb memory is okay, even though my phone has more, making this slow at times. I have to manually clean the memory occasionally, but not too often. I use the Hotspot, wifi and Bluetooth occasionally, all are strong. The battery is a slight bit less mah than stated on this listing, but is alright. The screen looks good, but it scratches fairly easily(not visible when screen is on). It works fine with my ATT and TMobile mvno's, but Hotspot only worked with TMobile (which was an Android 10 issue, haven't tried it since the 11 update). Cell network reception is okay, but seems to get less bars than my phone. This DOES support VOLTE, making call sound clear for both parties. The speakers on this are loud and EXCELLENT, with no rattle or tinny-ness. Texts and internet work great. I carry this everywhere in my over the shoulder case, as my main phone. This has been an excellent tablet, for the year I've owned it, especially for the low price. The memory shortage and just okay battery are its' weaknesses. Handles high def games fine, but will eat up power, if it's not plugged in. It's such a great multitasking tablet, that I just bought another in Jan 2022. The new one is not old stock, as it came with android 11 and the latest security patch. It also supported volte out of the box, while I had to update my first one to android 11 to get volte support. While my first unit came with the US 110 volt plug adapter, my newest one came with a european outlet plug. It's no problem though, since it's just a usb outlet adapter, of which I have many. This will NOT support Verizon, Sprint or any other cdma sim carrier, gsm carriers only. ... show more

try to be quick. 2cnd tablet purchase in 30 days. first one a generic android 10 tab w/ lte (digitizer board for display was not attached upon opening product) this tab - sm-t505 (intl LTE) 4 sim cards to get the native calling app and SMS-MMS to function. INTL version mean a lot as you have to deal with the region codes factory set for (in my case mexico) as the software is out of date and impossible to update. not comfortable flashing a custom rom or screwball idea that i can call google phone for the settings. i spoke with countless reps from the ntwrk. the biggest hurdle is BYOD as no support personnel or sales were willing to activate as a data tablet. which is partially true, but you need to be registered on an lte network that utilizes lte data. i live extremely remote and have only ever had luck with wifi calling. (side note do not ever let your carrier say your android does not have wifi calling ....but theirs does??) fun fact is all androids from way back have app loaded already....just not able to run due to your network blocking it) the workaround was to factory reset the tab and reset the APN manually. However when all was said and done it still would only upgrade the software to like 8 months ago (before you were able to install apps on your SD external card which beyond the LTE is the only reason i purchased it. for that i either have to be patient hoping my carrier send out the update (which i am a long time member and know we are last on the list of priorities. so i got another carrier sim put it in, connectected to their network and i upgraded to jan-21. this is one of only a handful of devices that will be able to upgrade to android 12. nonetheless i pulled the sim card back out put mine in and poof it work perfect on ATT with a little help from a MVNO ... show more
