I got this after trying one of those $50 dollar cheapo android tablets. I just wanted something I could keep by my bedside and check e-mails on occasion. After using the $50 cheapo for about 10 mins it made me want to smash it into little pieces with a hammer, so I returned it and got this. It was a little more, but it is ridiculously better than the cheapo was. I was able to upgrade it to Marshmallow and it works great. It's very zippy and responsive and I'm very happy with it. The only thing I don't love is that the charging port is on the top, and since I keep it plugged in all the time it's sort of awkward, but no big deal.     • Terrible purchase
Amazon delivered package in perfect condition. However, the third party seller did not prepare the tablet properly. First, the tablet came with ‘talk to speech’ turned on. So, you could not operate the buttons properly or type anything, as the system would get stuck on that button and not allow anything further to occur. After restarting a few times and no changes, I figured out how to reboot the device and it finally turned that feature off. After that I proceeded to the initial set up screen, only to repeatedly be met with the following error message when initially signing into Google: “unable to sign in to device due to a recent password change. Please try to sign in again 24 hours after the password change was performed.”. Funny thing is I WAS NOT EVER SIGNED INTO THE DEVICE and I had not changed my password. Also tried changing password thereafter and signing in, but that did not work either; same error message. This is one of the most disappointing and frustrating purchases I have made in some time. Recieved these yesterday. I got these for my 6 & 5 yr old LO's I've always purchased them tablets from walmart the kid made ones and would go through atleast two a year....screen would break or just wouldn't last. So this year I wanted to try somthing different. These came when expected. Nice repackaging But, one thing that had me dazed and confused was I order the 7A and Got 6A? Not sure if that means anything. I ordered cases specifically for the A7 tab but, I've emailed the company they sent cards in the mail with this item. Renewed item. So I will update that. Anyway my kids love love them. I linked my gmail's to both no problem. I did order memory cards for both these tabs... in other reviews I seen where there is no room but we downloaded abcmouse, YouTube of course and kids messenger w/o a problem of space. The memory cards aren't in yet. Anyway so far my LO's are pleased and so am I...so far. Btw, in other comment reviews I read how the touch screen is a bit slow or you have to like make sure your clicking what you want firm and all though in away this is true. I find it works great for my LO's because for kids they could touch somthing there not trying and with the way the tab is it's like a good typing speed or touch speed for kids? Receive it quickly, on time via FedEx but can not turn on, can not charge. Try to press and hold power button 8 seconds and more but no thing responds. Give it a change before return, make a test with charger, it works with other device. Change included cable with better cable, it begins to charging from 0%. When battery reach 5%, press power again then it starts. Just a bad cable but with 0% battery level can not recognize which problem happened and in most cases it will be returned with bad rate ! According to me it is a nice tiny tables for using android apps just at $60. Give it 4 stars because of bad included cable. ... show more

My hat is off to Amazon who makes buying online so painless and risk free. This is the third "renewed" tablet that I bought for a particular purpose. The first did not work at all. Amazon facilitated the return, no problem. I bought the second one from a different vendor and, because of an issue loading apps, it needed a factory reset. I then spent a lot of time with Samsung trying to get it to work only to be told they could not help me because it was a "renewed" product. I then tried Amazon who facilitated a return and replacement that was smooth and painless. I should have started there. Buying tech products online can be scary, but Amazon takes the fear and risk out of the process. I won't hesitate to buy tech products through Amazon in the future. ... show more

I PURCHASED THIS DEVICE SOLELY TO USE AS A READER.I TRIED WORKING WITH BARNES AND NOBLES AND SAMSUNG I WAS UNABLE TO LOAD FROM GOOGLE PLAY STORE "BARNES AND NOBLES NOOK APP" ON GOOGLE PLAY STORE FROM THIS RECONDITIONED TABLET THAT APP DID OT APPEAR.
