We recently purchased and installed this new TV and are amazed at how far the technology has come since we bought our last batch of TVs. Nearly every feature has seen marked improvements over the last few generations of TVs The picture has extremely rich colors and deep blacks, but the brightness and vividness is what stands out to me the most. Sound is both louder and clearer. The auto environmental adjustment makes a big difference on dialog and music in our gym, which is a wide open space with lots of reverb. The smart features are on par with or above what you will see in most of the competition. Set up and linking to my Samsung account was seamless and done entirely through my phone, and the OS is so snappy and visually pleasing. You have the option to use your phone as a remote or use the included (with batteries!) physical remote, which is small and well designed. Although it's not the top tier television from Samsung in 2025, it's such a step up from last year's mode that the increase in value for is real and you're still getting plenty of bang for your buck. Context: Bought the 75 inch variant of the QN70F to replace a 12 year old Samsung 60" 1080P. Placed in a very bright family room. Display: Coming from a 1080p pre OLED, QLED, NEO QLED era display, the brightness and contrast of this TV is far superior. This is edge lit but to be honest from my viewing distance I couldn't tell the difference from my mom's LG 4K OLED. My family room is very bright with a lot of windows, and everything is bright/vibrant, there is minimal reflection and glare. Sound: I paired this with the Samsung Q800D soundbar with QSymphony (EARC/HDMI) and the audio is amazing. Obviously I don't know how much of it is the TV and how much the soundbar, all I know is on my old TV/Vizio(soundbar) I'd have to crank it to 50% to hear conversations in some movies but I barely have to get close to 20% on the new tv/soundbar. Input: Meh. There are only 4 HDMIs inputs. One of those is taken by EARC if you use it. Three remaining so if you have a few gaming stations, media pc, roku or whatever you'll need to swap them around. Build Quality: The TV itself seems well put together. For how thin it is, it is not light. IMO anything bigger than a 55" I'd personally mount on the wall with a heavy duty wall mount because the feet with this unit are laughably cheap and wobbly. UX: Never cared for any smart tv interface, so to me this is a wash. For what its worth, controls and responsiveness are acceptable. The smart things phone pairing failed a few times, but I don't know if that is because WIFI in my house is just so so. Value: I'm not sure. You can probably pickup a non NEO QLED that is backlit, from last year or so and get it for a few hundred less. This will largely be based on your budget. I didn't want to spend more than 2K on a tv so to me I think this is a good entry/mid tier level tv. Again, for me, coming from a 12 year old 60" LED Samsung...this TV is light years above that in every way. Between the brightness of my family room and my viewing distance (very far)...8K resolution, super dark blacks and extreme contrast of an OLED, has a diminishing rate of return on investment. So this TV fit the bill for me. *one thing of note* I skipped a ton of the setup and didn't do the software update. Don't do that! The TV had a bunch of issues ranging from dropped input connectivity to failure to upscale without updating the software. After I did that, no issues. ... show more

The SAMSUNG 55-Inch Class Neo QLED QN70F TV has fantastic picture quality. The processor is fast and everything responds well from the remote. It does a great job upconverting my 1080P cable signal to 4K. Occasionally there is a little pixelation on fast action scenes that are getting converted, but it isn't too bad. It took little while to get used to the 4K image because it almost seemed too clear when evaluated against the 1080P plasma TV we replaced. The sound quality is excellent and we usually only have it at about a 15% volume level. I'm not currently a fan of the AI features such as AI sound because I found it emphasizes odd things at times. Specifically, you can hear people's pants swish as they walk and clocks ticking in the background. I currently have a Samsung phone and it pairs easily with the TV and allows you to have complete control. Overall, I'm very pleased with the quality and performance of the TV and I believe it competes well against OLED TVs at a much cheaper price. ... show more

Since we have Samsung phones & have been happy with them, I thought, why not give one of their TV's a try! We're using this as a spare in our vacation home & it's the perfect size for our great room. The picture is very crisp & clear, so much so when I watch one of our other older (& when I say older, I mean maybe 8 years older!) TV's & switch to watching this one, it's a completely night & day difference in the picture as far as colors, brightness & crispness. And the sound is even decent, which is surprising considering we usually have to hook up a sound bar with the flat screen TV's we currently have. it was super easy to set up by using our existing Samsung account we have for our phones.
