Mine was delivered in a regular box, had multiples scratches on the screen and a nasty dent, with frame paint peeled off, on the lower right corner. Not cool. I know it's renewed but wasnt expecting such a crappy item.

    • Very Sensitive To Power Fluctuations
Firstly, I would like to preface this with the fact that I bought a refurbished TV. However, the flickering issue shouldn't matter because it is refurbished. I simply want to be transparent here. I live in an apartment that isn't super large and my stove is on the same circuit as my TV. Large appliances should be on their own circuit, but I can't change that. Every TV I had before this one had zero issues with flickering, but when my stove clicks on and off (it is an electric stove) the TV flickers off and on again. It is rather annoying but the TV still works. To fix this, I simply purchased a battery backup that most folks use with PCs and Internet routers, and that solved the voltage drop flicker problem. I just think the power configuration in the rear of the TV should be able to handle slight power dropage as all my previous TVs were able to. That is my only gripe and it is a minor one seeing how it is fixable and all. Yes, I tried a power surge protector and voltage regulator first. The battery backup was the only thing that rectified the flicker. If you don't have heavy appliances on the same circuit, you would most likely not encounter this issue. ... show more

Definitely beats my expectations and it was worth every penny. Great TV at a super price! Sold by Amazon as "Renewed" but the box was clearly never opened. All packaging was as new. This is a great TV at a very awesome price as long as you're willing to wait a few extra day for freight to deliver from California.
