  • First impression compared to Frame TV 2024
Size: 55-Inch Style: TV Only
I had the Frame TV 2024 before this one. The physical hardware appears identical on the outside, except for the remote which now has the AI click to search button. The previous version of colored bezels are perfectly compatible with this frame. There is a significant difference in the responsiveness of the menus because of the faster processor. The 2025 model feels like a normal modern UI with its snappy quick response. The menu icon style is slightly redesigned and improved. The 2024 model on the other hand has a very laggy menu that gets annoying to use. This alone is a reason to upgrade! As far as picture quality, I noticed this is better with the deep blacks even though the specs are the same. The 2024 model was not ideal for video content showing dark grey when areas were supposed to be black. I wonder what Samsung did with the panel to improve this. I love the improvement in the deeper blacks. Art mode is amazing, and it’s the main reason I have the Frame TV. While I prefer OLED TVs for video content, this is decent for video too. However nothing else on the market beats this for rotating through realistic art that looks like the real medium of oil paintings, paper, etc. Settings tip for most realistic viewing: turn down the brightness and use the auto brightness and power save settings so it’s not artificially bright. For some reason TV manufacturers crank up the brightness way too much in the default settings. ... show more

  • Internet based features can be challenging
Size: 50-Inch Style: TV Only
So, I was super excited for The Frame tv. It started off pretty well, it joined to my existing SmartThings account and did a bunch of setup with my phone. I installed all the apps and got them logged in. So far so good. Then came the not fun. It wouldn't let me upload photos to the personal images folder. Says it isn't on the same wifi. I did a ton of research on that error and tried multiple fixes. Nothing worked. I ended up having to download images onto a thumb drive and insert them. The art mode is pretty and it does automatically wake up when you enter the room. I.ages look good but they definitely seem pretty close to the Screensaver setting on my old TV. The difference being the wake and sleep setting for it. I didn't hang mine yet because the instructions are very unclear. I'll have to watch some videos. I'm really handy but there are no written instructions, just some pictures that don't make sense. I'd give it a 3 out of 20 for documentation. Also, I use a Fire TV recast and the Amazon app on the TV doesn't support it. I tried using a firestick on one of the hdmi ports and it wouldn't tie to it either, so no streaming live TV from that so far. The remote is innovative and fairly intuitive. The volume button you shove up or down on to change the volume. Clicking in on the button mutes. So far, the experience for me has been a 7 since that internet issue with the art mode has been a pain. More so since all the other phone remote control features work, so I know they are connected. Tons of similar stories on the web dating back years too. If that were fixed, if the wall install instructions were better and if it worked with the Fire TV Recast, it would be a 10 for me. I still like the TV, but it was not as exciting as I had originally thought it would be with having to do workarounds. Oh, no RCA connectors so if you have older tech you'll need a HDMI converter. ... show more

  • Great TV
Size: 55-Inch Style: TV Only
Really nice picture, frame mode is crisp. Hanging it on wall was fairly straightforward if you have stud finder, drill bit and some fliptoggle anchors. Never had hung a TV on the wall before but was able to with this one.

  • Not a very good experience for a new 65 inch 2025 TV.
Size: 65-Inch Style: TV Only
All HDMI input stopped working the 3rd day. Replaced cables etc, updated firmware, factory reset. Nothing worked. Also while troubleshooting the HDMI inputs the TV repeatedly reset

  • Beautiful picture, improved Tizen operating system and looks beautiful on the wall!
Size: 50-Inch Style: TV Only
This review is for the 2025 model “the Frame” TV from Samsung Once mounted it becomes more than a TV – it becomes a personal art statement. Have received nothing but astonishment from guests – some did not even realize it was a TV at first! The TV picture can look a little overly bright, also skin tones a little harsh at first, but turn off the ECO mode, and turn the picture settings to movie - and everything comes together very nicely for a very stunning and accurate palette to display anything from local news to your favorite movie. The Tizen operating system has always been the thing I hate most with Samsung TVs, but this one updated operating system feels much different - everything moves fast, apps come up very quickly and now it is one of my favorite operating systems out there. Only gripe is for whatever reason – the NFL App still is not represented in this TV’s App catalog and with the season approaching I have to attach a streaming stick to watch Red-Zone or NFL+. Luckily, I had a Google Streamer available and the included Samsung remote easily was able to operate the functions of the streamer so I didn’t have to use multiple remotes. The included remote is very different from most TV remotes, and the 2025 Generation TV remote even has a solar light charging function, as well as a “C” USB port to quick charge the remote should you need it – after 2 weeks of use my battery started and is holding at 83 percent. The TV comes with its own wall mount solution to hang it right at the wall, only requires a single wire up to handle all HDMI, USB, Power connections and running that behind the wall gives you an incredibly clean install. It was easy to put a frame on this TV, and while Samsung offers its easy mount frame in multiple colors – I opted for a more Substantial frame which I purchased from The Laredo Company on Amazon. The pictures posted with this review show the TV in the black frame it comes in and The Laredo Frame which turned it into a centerpiece in my Living Room. Is the Frame TV for everyone? Maybe not. But for me, I am extremely happy with it, and love the look that it gets from Guests in our home. Easy to recommend for your home as well! ... show more
