I had the Frame TV 2024 before this one. The physical hardware appears identical on the outside, except for the remote which now has the AI click to search button. The previous version of colored bezels are perfectly compatible with this frame. There is a significant difference in the responsiveness of the menus because of the faster processor. The 2025 model feels like a normal modern UI with its snappy quick response. The menu icon style is slightly redesigned and improved. The 2024 model on the other hand has a very laggy menu that gets annoying to use. This alone is a reason to upgrade! As far as picture quality, I noticed this is better with the deep blacks even though the specs are the same. The 2024 model was not ideal for video content showing dark grey when areas were supposed to be black. I wonder what Samsung did with the panel to improve this. I love the improvement in the deeper blacks. Art mode is amazing, and it’s the main reason I have the Frame TV. While I prefer OLED TVs for video content, this is decent for video too. However nothing else on the market beats this for rotating through realistic art that looks like the real medium of oil paintings, paper, etc. Settings tip for most realistic viewing: turn down the brightness and use the auto brightness and power save settings so it’s not artificially bright. For some reason TV manufacturers crank up the brightness way too much in the default settings. ... show more

The Samsung Frame TV is Awesome. I mounted it in my daughter’s room and she absolutely loves it. It literally looks like art during the day and as a tv it’s pretty legit too. I’m not sure I’d ever replace the Sony OLED in my living room with one but I love the concept and love the actual frame tv in my daughters room. ... show more

This TV is somewhat magical. I literally bought it only for its ability to display art. I’m sufficiently impressed with the results, but there are a few caveats. There is a subscription for the Art store, which I did not know previously, so be sure to do some research and factor that into the cost if you’re interested. I really enjoy the variety of artwork. However, the interface is really bad. It feels quite outdated and is pretty slow. I also feel as though the remote could have more useful buttons such as a dedicated art button or an Art favorites button. ... show more

    • Huge TV… HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT….DEAD AFTER 8 DAYS.

I have service coming tomorrow for this 8 day old tv that was delivered and professionally installed for $265, mounted to my wall. After 8 days it just clicks and the red LED light blinks on the tv then goes out. Then after several minutes lights back up. I have reviewed all the service recommendations and gone through all the reset options to rectify the issue with no resolution. At this point I have Samsung authorized service coming tomorrow but they informed me that Samsung had a run of bad capacitors in their power supplies and that if it is a power board issue, which is exactly what it is according to all the information, that it will be 12 weeks for the part and the repair. 12 weeks. A $4500 tv that lasted only 8 days. Now a 3 month wait, most likely, for parts and repair. Thank GOD I saved the box and packing. I almost put it out for recycling but it was a really windy week. I am going to return this tv if they can’t get it working at this service visit. I have had great luck with Samsung in the past, my laundry and kitchen appliances are all Samsung and most of my tvs have been Samsung for the last 15 years. Got it for a small guest room that didn't have much space. I added 1 star for it functioning, and 1 star for it not taking up much space. Sound Quality: Very bad. Picture Quality: Bad. Software: The Worst. I honestly wish TV manufactures would cut out the smart features, and cut out trying to do sound and just focus on giving a good picture and let us add the rest as we need it, from people who are capable of making quality products. ... show more
