  • Solid little TV for the money. (32")
Size: 32-Inch Style: TV Only
Bought this for the size of it (32") first and foremost and everything else was more or less secondary to that. What you are getting at this price is a very nice TV with a pretty good user interface. It's not the best on earth but it definitely does everything you need it to do. Certain things are just not explained well either. Like how do you add an app to the quick launch bar in the home menu?? I had to google how that worked. Should have been part of the setup process after logging you into all the common apps like Disney+, Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, and Youtube. Maybe you wanted them in a particular order, without googling it I wouldn't have figured it out. Picture-wise? You really can't go wrong with it. There is a bit of backlight bleed on one of the edges of my screen when staring at a black screen, but with content up? You can't even tell it's there. The fact that it's a 4K screen at this size is really awesome too. The amount of detail is just fantastic for the size; It really pulls you into whatever you're watching. Colors aren't too bad out of the box, skin tones look decent and accurate. Only real negatives are it doesn't get SUPER bright and it doesn't support 120HZ refresh rate so it's not the *best* for gaming. Sound-wise? It's ok, it's never going to blow you away but it definitely is decent enough for a small room. If you want better sound there are always sound bars or full on surround setups that will solve that problem for you. Not an issue for me though. Final note: Weird little thing I noticed when setting it up on a wall mount, it is a VESA 100x100 pattern, BUT.. The wall mount I bought came with either REALLY short screws, or Samsungs mounting depth is just too deep. I ended up running over to Home Depot to grab some longer screws and that ended up fixing my issue. Not sure who's at fault for this but it's worth knowing just in case you do end up mounting it to a wall. Bottom line though? Great value, for under $500 you really can't go wrong with it and you definitely can't find anything other than PC monitors that are 4k in this size range. Wish I could give it 4.5 stars for the backlight bleed and weird UI but that doesn't seem fair, everything else is great. ... show more

  • Excellent TV for the price
Size: 55-Inch Style: TV Only
I love this Samsung TV. This is the third one I have purchased. The picture is great and compares to TVs at twice the price. I also like the Samsung interface including the Samsung TV app. I also used the installation from Amazon this time which worked out great. They came in, unboxed the TV in my TV room, assembled the legs and powered it on They then cleaned up the mess and hauled the box away. ... show more

  • Best TV I’ve Ever Owned for a Great Price
Size: 32-Inch Style: TV Only
This Samsung TV has the clearest and smoothest video and color quality of any TV I’ve ever owned. The sound quality is not bad at all by any standards and if set up in the right place sounds fantastic. The ports are all very accessible and set up in ideal spots in the back of the TV. Whether you use the Samsung Smart TV side or plug in an Amazon FireStick, it works beautifully. This isn’t the cheapest TV, but in a world where many TV’s over $1,000 are rivaled by this one, the value for money is fantastic. Overall, excellent TV for what I think is a good price for what you get. ... show more

  • Great picture but a bit of a hassle to setup.
Size: 50-Inch Style: TV Only
I ordered this TV to replace a 55" 4K Roku TV made by another manufacturer and although it is a little smaller the picture and colors are far better than the old 55" TV which died on me suddenly. Even the local over the air stations look bright and clear and appear to be of a higher resolution than they are actually being broadcast by the TV stations which is due to Samsung's phenomenal processor in this TV. I was a little irritated that I had to create a Samsung account in order to complete the setup process and could not receive any of the Samsung channels or add my Prime Video account to the TV until I did. The Home screen and the remote take a little getting used to but I figured out how to maneuver about fairly quickly once it was setup. I was able to attach an Android Box and a Roku Box to the HDMI ports for access to other internet based viewing which was already setup on those devices and that went pretty smoothly but I was unable to connect an older DVD player/recorder to it initially because it did not have HDMI out so I was able to get a converter to adapt the RCA outputs on the DVD Player to HDMI 1080P. The converter works great but I had to define that port as being connected to a PC because it did not have a selection for my unit in the device list which only lists Blue Ray Players and tries to program the Samsung Remote to control the player. I'll also use the same HDMI port to connect a computer to the TV and use the 50" screen as a computer monitor which works great at 4K resolution and allows me to have up to 4 applications open on the screen at once. My previous TV had a headphone jack which allowed be to connect the audio to my stereo's auxiliary inputs. The only audio output supported by the TV is the fiber optic digital audio port so I found a $11 converter which converts the digital audio to analog audio and has both a headphone jack and a pair of RCA jacks to make the necessary connections. With that setup, I disabled the speakers on the TV and just use the stereo remote to control the volume and it works great. The tuner on this TV does not seem to be as sensitive as my previous TV so I am unable to pick up as many local TV station on this TV and I plan to get a TV Antenna Booster to bring in more channels. Once that is in place I'll be a happy camper once again with all the options I am used to and the additional Samsung channels to boot. I have not fully explored the Samsung channels yet but hopefully there will be a few options that I did not already have access to. I did not setup the voice control because I just don't need or use those options and prefer the old art of channel surfing with the remote control. The main advantage of this TV over my previous TV is the superior video quality which I really like. What I do not like is the necessity to purchase and add the two converters and the antenna booster to make it fully functional (for me) but I expect this TV to last several years without failure since Samsung has a good reputation for building quality equipment. The TV is extremely thin which is because of the QLED backlighting and it is fairly lightweight. It was also easy to attach the stands which did not require screws like most of the TVs I have had in the past. The stands just slide into the slots on the back of the TV and they just click into place so they do not fall off when moving the TV. I decided to give this TV 4 stars because the picture is great and although I had to buy a few extras to meet my needs and the total cost of the extras is under $60. ... show more

  • Go look at your TVs before buying them.
Size: 65-Inch Style: TV Only
I own a Samsung phone so I am in the Samsung Universe already. So choosing this TV is easy for me because it checks many boxes. While I am familiar with the Samsung OS and the interface with my phone is good, the picture quality is a little bit lacking. So buyers beware.
