I needed a ring light that would hold an ipad for a DIY Photo Booth I wanted to create for my daughter’s sweet sixteen. I chose this one because it seemed like it would do what I needed and the price was right. After all, this may never get used again, so I didn’t want to spend $50 or $100 or more. Also, I was a little behind schedule and this was able to arrive in a day. It arrived early, was relatively simple to assemble, functioned as advertised and the party was a success. The remote pairs with your ipad or phone via Bluetooth in ten seconds and allows you to easily snap the photo from in front of the camera. The stand is sturdy enough. Enough is the key word there. This is not a commercial stand. It stayed standing through the party with 15 teenage girls playing with it and adjusting it, kept touching the ipad while it was in the stand holder. But it stayed standing just fine. It is a little wobbly, maybe a little top heavy, but it got the job done at the right price. The light is plastic, so it would likely survive a fall or two but I’m sure the right impact would crack it. But it didn’t fall. The ipad holder kept the ipad secured. And the girls had a lot of fun cycling though all the lighting and color modes. I’ve seen other reviews that describe this as a good low-cost starter light and I would agree with that.

The brightness and darkness of this ring light is very could, it just doesn’t come with good enough instructions for how to put things together but it is a very great content creating tool . I feel like you should purchase as long as you have the patience with learning and putting things together in your end . It is a great size and color are pretty as well . PURCHASE IT

The media could not be loaded. I’ve never seen a tripod with as many versatile attachments as this one, and it’s amazing. I love this tripod so much, and the different light settings on the ring light work perfectly as well! You can adjust the warmth/coolness and brightness of the light, and I can have my iPad and phone set up on it all at once. It’s very convenient. It is a bit of a balancing act though with having the iPad on it. I did notice the attachment isn’t strong enough to hold my iPad up on its own (it falls and points downward to the floor); but I used the mini tripod as an extra support to hold the iPad where I needed it and it works great. My only complaint with this tripod is mine might be possessed? If I leave it plugged in, it’ll randomly turn on! It’s not a bad thing, it just reminds me I need to unplug it after each use I guess.

Instructions to put together are not very clear, but its easy enough to read and look at the photos to actually figure it out. The stand is sturdy and the light is bright.

So it lights up beautifully and we love it except for one issue. It randomly turns on - not good when you wake up to the bright light at 2am. Switch is either broken or too sensitive I have no idea so we unplug it when not actively using it. Not worth the return hassle.

I'm so sad. My daughter picked this out to give me for Christmas. I used it for the first time in January and after only a few uses it quickly started flickering and shorting out. It is also a rather dim ring light, I was expecting a much stronger light. Sometimes it would turn on and sometimes it would flicker from what appears to be a short in the cord. It is now the end of February and the light absolutely won't turn on today while the power button blinks quickly. There is a short in this ring light's cord and it was unfortunately delivered this way to me. I would appreciate the seller contacting me and offering an exchange for a new product.

The ring light came on time. It was in perfect condition. My 11 year old daughter loves it. I love it Her friends loved it and now even my two year-old is trying to play with it. I would definitely order again and the price was very reasonable… the height is adjustable. I would say this ring light is perfect for someone who is 5’1 and shorter. If you plan to constantly adjust this ring light, then I don’t know how well it would hold up.
