I ordered the TV with unpackaging and haul away for $69. Amazon staff has been commutative, and respectful to time arrival and notification of putting the pets in secured place. The TV itself has outstanding quantum mini led lights makes certain scenes with dark shadows shows more detail and colors seem more vibrant than my old TV. The interface between Netflix and YouTube was transition faster and smoother. For the price I paid/product delivery/quality and UI (users interface) I’m happy and impressed! I’m barely using screen for first day can’t have the conclusive information on the durability. I also love the design of the remote control. Is tiny, simple and minimalism. But so far I believe I’ve made a best decision on purchasing this one! ... show more

    • The Most Frustrating TV, Ever
Size: 55 Inch Style: TV Only
The picture on this Samsung 55-inch Mini LED TV is quite good -- much better than the old Sony it replaced. Even better, the price was hard to pass up, especially since it wouldn't be my main TV. But the remote that comes with it is the absolute worst remote I've ever used. You can't switch between HDMI ports. It doesn't remember the last input I used. You can't even adjust the volume at the touch of a button. (Update: I've discovered via Google that you can increase/lower the volume using the small left toggle. When turned on, the TV always defaults to a high volume level, not the last selected. ) Samsung wants you to use your phone in the Snart Things app, and that's not intuitive or easy or quick. And what if my husband wants to use the TV? Or a guest? Samsung wants you to *buy* their smart remote to use with this TV. First, the good: The picture quality is good, especially for the price. I was afraid that the mini-LED wouldn't stand up to a 55" size, but it does. It streams well and comes with some common apps such as Prime Video, Netflix, AppleTV Plus, and YouTube. Although it doesn't have Alexa built in, you can link it to your account as a skill so that you can use voice control to turn it on and off and change inputs. In fact, the only way I could download HBO Max account was by asking Alexa. That said, the Alexa controls are spotty. I loved that I could scan a QR code on the TV to sign in to my streaming accounts without entering everything manually. It uses an AI voice assistant to answer questions -- a minus as well as a plus. Now, the bad: When I set it up, I thought I could return to my cable service provider settings, but I can't figure out how to get back. Every time I turn the TV on, I plays Pluto TV in a sub-box, with sound. It simply does not remember where I left it last. So, if I turned off the TV with AppleTV open, it plays Pluto. If I turned off the TV with cable on, it plays Pluto. When I wanted to download HBO Max from the app store, it didn't offer me that option, and it doesn't have a search box. In many ways, attaching a Roku to a non-smart TV works better than this supposedly smart one. Maybe their sold-separately remote will remove all this frustration and annoyances, but I can't bring myself to do that on principle. Because the remote and the interface are so awful, this TV is the most frustrating television I've ever experienced. It gets three stars from me only because it has a good picture, not-awful sound (much better than others not connected to external speakers), connects to Alexa, and can stream just about any app you wish. Still, I would have returned this TV if it was going to be the main TV in my house. Before buying another Samsung in the future, I will have to do serious research to make sure that set isn't as frustrating as this one. ... show more

I am very happy with this TV. The price is right for a bedroom TV. It was easy to set up since I already had a Samsung account. The picture quality is excellent. The only drawback is there are only 3 HDMI connections so I had to quit using my DVD player on it. One HDMI input is for a sound bar. It does not have an optical output jack or video RCA jacks so I could not use my hearing aid unit. Since it was Prime day Amazon gave me a delivery and unpack free. They also plug it in to make sure it works. I am satisfied with it and purchased it knowing what connections it had as there is a good illustration on Amazon. ... show more

I’ve only had the television for 4 days, but the clarity of the picture, the color and brightness are all amazing. Our living room has a lot of natural light and with this set, we have no issues seeing the picture in the brightest conditions. The tv was easy to set up with a home theater receiver and an Apple TV. Most mid-range panels force you to pick between decent movie night quality or lower input lag for gaming. The Samsung M70H handles both surprisingly well without making you compromise. Right out of the box, the setup takes maybe five minutes—especially if you're already in the Samsung ecosystem and use the SmartThings app to pass over your network settings. The Mini LED backlighting does a solid job pushing punchy highlights and respectable blacks for this price tier. But where this TV earns its keep is the Gaming Hub. If you rely on cloud gaming services like NVIDIA GeForce NOW, the integration here is incredibly smooth. The TV switches into its low-latency Auto Game Mode instantly, and the motion handling stays crisp even during fast-paced shooters or racing games, bypassing the typical stutter you get on standard 60Hz panels. The built-in Tizen operating system is snappy enough, though it still suffers from Samsung's usual cluttered home screen layout. Sound from the built-in speakers is average—passable for casual watching, but you will definitely want a dedicated soundbar if you want audio that matches the quality of the display.
