  • Love it!
Size: 55-Inch Style: TV Only
So happy with this tv and I am very particular about aesthetics! I hate televisions in living rooms but this one looks amazing! Great sound - no sound bar needed. Adds amazing style to the room. Beautiful picture and art - love the matte glass finish. Easy to mount, light weight and only sits an inch off the wall. We had an electrician run the cable through the wall to a closet behind TV in the foyer. Electrician installed outlet in closet and one connect box sits on shelf in coat closet and works great! ... show more

  • The product is great, Amazon delivery service is the worst

Do not buy if you live in an apartment building. They won’t call you when they are outside, I guess laziness.

  • Great picture quality, easy to mount, saves precious space in a small apartment
Size: 43-Inch Style: TV Only
The Samsung 43" Frame TV arrived in great condition and was fairly easy to unpack by myself. It took about 30 minutes to hang after carefully measuring the space and making sure the mounts were level. The connection cable is thin and mostly transparent if you do not want to run the cable inside the walls. The cable is about 16' long, so you have plenty of wiggle room for custom installs. Unfortunately the "connect" box is rather large and cumbersome. Where I am mounting this there is no console below the TV or anywhere near it - so I will have to install a floating shelf for the box - that is in no way sleek or attractive. Once installed and connected I chose the smartphone setup process (you can do it by remote also, just takes longer). You do need to create a Samsung account to take advantage of many features - including adding artwork. You can subscribe to the Samsung artwork program for $5 monthly, or less annually. There was a 2 month free trial at setup. I spent more time trying to figure out setting up the artwork display to only work during the daytime or by room motion - and it still does not work. So far I can only have it on all the time or off. I will need to research this more - I don't want it running all the time when there is no one to see it. As far as picture quality goes, it is pretty good. My main TV is OLED, so I cannot compare this to that unit. It does have a good picture in most lighting situations. The sound is not bad either - surprisingly good for such a thin TV. I opted to reinstall my soundbar for a more immersive experience. The set supports Dolby Atmos - a great feature for movie buffs. Installing this television saved me some space is a very tight apartment bedroom. I could get rid of the existing TV that was on a tripod style stand and open up that space for a side chair. It looks much better and adds a nice contemporary look to the room. I included a picture of the included frame and one of an optional one. In my opinion it looks 100% better with the optional frame - like real artwork. If it's in your budget I would research the options for optional frames - there are many available that match almost any decor. Overall I really like this television. I think the app is unnecessarily over complicated, but that could be resolved just by taking the time to learn it. I would definitely recommend this television to others (and already have) - it's well worth the investment. ... show more

  • Isn't actually a television
Size: 50-Inch Style: TV Only
Look, this is weird. But this isn't a television, its a computer monitor. You can't use this AT ALL without attaching it to a (Samsung One Connect) box the size of a toaster oven you then have to put... somewhere? There's no way to mount it to a wall without any cables showing. This is absolutely garbage. Do not buy this. ... show more

  • Over hyped
Size: 43-Inch Style: TV Only
Overall I have mixed feelings about this TV, when dropping this kind of money on a device, $1000 as of writing this review, it’s as much about the overall experience for me, this is something that Apple get so right in my opinion. When I opened the box up I was somewhat left feeling disappointed, the packaging was awful and worse than what I have seen from Walmart TV’s, I expected from a company such as Samsung some innovative eco packaging, but instead it’s just styrofoam and sticky tape! No manual just a quick start guide, the link for downloading the manual was broken and not working, I tried customer support but that was a joke, just a bot that just sent me in circles! Setting up the TV is fairly straight forward but because this TV uses an external brick for you to plug everything into it makes placement tricky. The external brick is heavy and needs to sit on a surface which means if you are using a side board then the brick needs to sit behind or in front of the TV making it ugly and not at all attractive. The thin cable that uses a special connector is very long also making placement hard, FYI replacement cables are very expensive! I was also not impressed by the fact that the frames for this TV are $150 each from Samsung, the whole point of this TV is that it’s a picture frame, but they don’t even include one frame with the TV! The art part of the equation is a annual fee of $50! they give you some awful free graphics, but to be honest the screen savers on any PC are better. You also need an account to access most of the features of this TV! The remote in my opinion is awful, it’s white? but the TV is black? it’s small and has annoying controls with minimal buttons, to change channels you need to press a button, then press another button, then access a virtual number pad! The biggest joke with this remote is that it has a solar panel, or you can charge via USB-C cable, but it doesn’t have a battery indicator? so you have to wait till the remote stops working to find out it needs charging? I’m not going to put it on charge after every time I use it! Another issue I have with this TV is the interface, it’s horrible! cluttered with ads and what you should watch, if you want to change sources such as to use a games console it’s berried in a menu, if you have the TV on art mode and hit the home button instead of taking you to home it takes you to the art store, I find this super annoying, in my opinion the whole art thing is a gimmick hidden behind a paywall. Having said all of that the TV does have a good picture, and I love the matte screen that eliminates glare, it’s amazing and it will be hard for me to watch a TV without a matte screen now! I also like the sound from the onboard speakers, it’s not amazing but it is good for a flat panel TV. I also like that the TV comes with bluetooth, I can connect my headphones and listen and not disturb my wife, the only fly in the ointment is that there is latency, it’s not horrendous but I notice it. I think that this TV is way overpriced, I have Tv’s that cost less than half the price that have better user interface and a picture quality that is arguably as good, it all depends if you’re willing to pay for the art, if not then I would look elsewhere. ... show more
