  • Excellent TV
Size: 55-Inch Style: TV Only
This TV has an excellent picture quality. The sound quality is also very good. We have multiple TVs of various brands, but I can easily say this one has them all beat. The speed of the interface is noticeably faster than all our other TVs. I usually have to use a separate streaming device with TVs because the TVs are so laggy with apps, etc. I don't use a separate device with this TV. The built-in apps are more than fast enough to enjoy. I have it connected to a sound bar via eARC HDMI and I wasn't sure if the sound would be any different. It is. The sound is just more spacious and louder. Again, another noticeable difference. The TV has multiple HDMI inputs, a network jack, antenna connection, optical connection and USB ports. The TV has the option to always output sound via optical even if outputting sound on another interface. There are also some AI settings that the TV allows you to enable for picture and sound. Things such as knowing how to adjust picture and sound according to the room and what's being displayed. I left the AI settings at default, and I am very satisfied with the picture and sound. The first thing I started watching was a documentary about a hidden treasure that took place in the US. The first few minutes had some opening scenes that blew me away. The forest and mountain areas looked 3D. the motion was smooth, colors vibrant and the picture was extremely crisp. My wife usually doesn't pay attention to details on tech devices, but she immediately stated that she could tell a large difference between this TV and our others. The price is more than some other TVs of comparable size, but the TV is also much better quality than the cheaper ones in picture, audio and features. It is definitely heavier than my garage TV which is also 55 inches. It uses a standard Vesa mount, so wall mounting is not a problem at all. The remote is smaller but handles all necessary functions. One of the only things I didn't like was the need to set up a Samsung account in order to access all of the apps. We subscribe to almost all streaming services and the TV supports all of our apps with the exception of one car racing platform. It's definitely a winner that I highly recommend. ... show more

  • Bad HDMI ports
Size: 75-Inch Style: TV Only
Unfortunately, I had to return the TV due to bad HMDI inputs. The TV would default to 720p resolution. Unplugging the HDMI cable and plugging it back in would sometimes get it to display in 4K, but after a few minutes the screen would flash, an “optimizing” message would be displayed, and then it would be back at 720p. I even bought an 8k cable to try. I packed it back up, Amazon would rather I returned it than fix it. I will note, using the built in apps on the TV worked at 4K and the picture was great. But I’m usually needing to use the HDMI ports. So now I’m back to using my old Samsung 65”, which looks great at 4K. It’s a 2021 model but still works good. My only goal was to upgrade to a 75”. ... show more

  • Fantastic Mid-Level QLED
Size: 55-Inch Style: TV Only
Pros: ✅ Breathtaking Picture Quality – Mini LED technology delivers stunning clarity, brightness, and contrast. Every year gets better in TV’s ✅ Incredible Motion Handling – Action sequences and sports flow with remarkable smoothness—no blur, no judder, just seamless clarity. ✅ Premium Build – Minimalist bezel, solid stand, and an overall sleek, modern design. ✅ Smart Upscaling – helps with upscaling non-4K content i.e. 1080p (which is a nice touch) ✅ Versatile for Any Room or Content – Performs impressively in both dark and bright settings ✅ Smooth Setup & User Experience – Simple installation, intuitive interface, and stable app performance ________________________________________ Cons: ❌ Might need help to Wall Mount ❌ No Dolby Vision Support – Samsung’s HDR10+ and “Samsung Vision” try to fill the gap, but Dolby Vision fans may notice the absence. ❌ Dark Scenes – Not quite on par with OLED’s for inky black scenes ❌ Audio Still Better with Dedicated Setup – decent integrated TV speakers, true audiophiles or those with home theater setups will still lean on external sound systems. (soundbar, dedicated speakers, etc.) ________________________________________ Final Verdict: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) The Samsung Neo QLED isn’t just a TV it is an experience. It elevates everything you watch with dazzling visuals, fluid motion, and rock-solid reliability. Whether you're deep into movies, gaming, sports, or streaming classic shows, this TV rises to the occasion An excellent middle of the road QLED this isn’t the flagship model by Samsung, but it should be enough for the average viewer. I own a 2 OLED TV’s a LG 65 (C7) and LG 55 (CX) and while the black are darker on the OLED the mini LED tech is catching up and close to the same level. QLED offers better brightness compared to most OLED. Though the 2025 models made a leap forward. If you’re trying to decide between an OLED and QLED, I would suggest viewing in person. Understanding placement/environment etc. A general rule of thumb is a QLED will perform better if in a room with lots of light or direct light on the screen. OLED are great in darker room environments. If you’re mounting the TV and there is a window directly across from your TV and you aren’t going to shut the blinds or shades than a QLED is your best option. If you’re serious about your home entertainment, this is an excellent middle-of-the-road option. It works as a main TV or for use in a bedroom. For me a 55 inch is an excellent size for a bedroom, but it comes down to the size of the room and distance from the screen among other factors ... show more
